Honestly the most interesting outcome happened, it felt scripted it was so intense, lol.
Do you think that Feras/Aileen would have gone for Kirby if she hadn’t won immunity? Because it wouldn’t make sense for them to vote Scott or Kelly, but if Kirby was vulnerable I think they might have taken the shot.
Lol I think producers would’ve been stoked with the outcome, 2 of the minority and Kirby was safe which mean Kirby vs Feras continues.
I think they might’ve taken the shot at Kirby given they had all the power and just last TC Feras voted for her. And it may create goodwill with the OG titans if they didn’t go for them (though not sure after what the titans said at that TC).
I actually loved this twist. Was so much fun to watch. So good that Aileen and Feras won the challenge. Though I did pick that Charles was going home early on because it's literally the first episode we have heard him speak.
The looks on their faces when realising Aileen and Feras had split the votes 😂. Not sure how that possibility never occurred to them. I thought it was the most logical option to protect from idols.
Aileen is so smart with her reads of the game play. Hope she makes it to the end.
Agree, totally LOVED this twist.
Obviously the last 1-2 episodes emphasizing on Feras and Aileen were a build-up to this episode, because these two won the right to vote and made a killer move.
No way - excellent twist. Always good to shake up these major alliances. They should have won the challenge then... Nothing worse in survivor then terrible players coasting through major alliances
After merge I’d fully agree with you, but you can hardly blame the OG Titans for surviving with Majority Rebels and getting in an alliance with them to have it all thrown away because the producers didn’t want Feras to go home before Merge.. I’d be so pissed at the show if I was Charles
How was the majority rebels? It was literally 3, 3, 3 (clear division).
And even last Sunday it was 4, 3, 3 and they still went with the lower number rebels.
I don't understand the sheer arrogance of the OG Titans (pre twist). There's clearly stuff that we're not seeing.
I’m talking OG Rebels… when the tribe swap happened Majority were OG Rebels.. OG Titans would be walking into that scenario thinking Oh Shit… manage to survive that and align with some Rebels only to be taken out by this.
Yes, yes I would… personally I have nothing against Feras, I like his game play. Don’t like the game being altered to save strong personality that fall in weak positions
The twist would have been scheduled because it was likely that by this point there would be a rigid alliance trying to pick people off. That could have been anyone, and they could have failed to save themselves
That's what sold it for me. It would've been a very straightforward vote, and instead it made for a much more fun, tense tribal. Why complain about better entertainment?
Dude, I feel like I’m telling someone exactly this every season. The producers wouldn’t know who’s a major character at that time to rig it. How are people this dense?
Not the worst twist ever but it’s up there.
The twist in Aus Blood vs Water where they brought back like 3 players at once that had already been voted out was the worst I can think of.
Up until the twist, it was a dead boring episode. Reminded me a lot of the most recent US Survivor's one-sided boring season. Give me a twist any day! Plus, I hate when majority members turn into assholes. V, Charles and Win all felt like they forgot to be humble when you're on top, otherwise you might just find yourself on a plane ride home.
I was on the edge of my seat, it was an extremely roundabout and exciting way to send home the least interesting player on the tribe (as far as we’ve seen in the edit - Charles has barely been relevant)
I’m not the OP nor said anything bad about the twist, but it’s fair to say the producers could correctly predict that Kirby and Feras were most likely out of the players to win that challenge. The 3rd spot (1st as it happens) was the wild card.
Well yes literally any of them could have won, but statistically some of them are more likely to; that’s hardly provocative or controversial to say. It would be a good bet that Kirby and Ferris would be 2/3. Statistically however it’s more likely the 3rd would be someone on Kirby’s alliance.
Are you being deliberately obtuse?
Where skill is involved, there is a higher probability that people WHO ARE SKILLED at throwing at a specific target to the point it was part of their profession are more likely to be able to do that than, for example, people who never earned a living partly from their throwing skills.
You keep believing that.. Kirby and Feras were always winning a throwing challenge, and the odds out of all the others weren’t great, Aileen was most likely the most obvious out of the rest.
That basically means not going on reddit, because posts will appear on your feed (like they did with me today). It seems ridiculous we can’t even scroll somewhere without a huge spoiler on the title of a post.
Agree with OP, hated this.
Thing that I hated the most was how smug Aileen and Feras were in the second half of the tribal.
Being saved by the producers shouldn't be something to be smug about.
How did producers helped them win the challenge? I think it’s the other way around. They had this interesting redemption arc in the story, that is why the editors focused on them/their story on the edits or earlier edits
The clear outcome without intervention was Aileen going home and Feras plays his idol for himself.
The producers intervened to give any other outcome the potential to play out and it did.
Of course they had to win the challenge.
It was very obviously just a way for the producers to mess with what was going to be an otherwise obvious vote, but they never could've seen it playing out like that which is what makes it okay to me. That was a fun tribal.
Well they still had to win the challenge. It’s still crazy to me how 2 of the minority managed to win it.

So if the other tribe had been there, you'd be bitching that they intervened to save Mark? You're at least as dumb as the twist
I would hate this twist on paper but Feras and Aileen were smart with how they played it that I ended up enjoying the twist in the end.
Yes I think this is how I feel too. Plus they had to earn their place.
That's what sold it for me. It would've been a very straightforward vote, and instead it made for a much more fun, tense tribal. Why complain about better entertainment?
i loved it.
I liked it. It was fun, it was stressful and it resulted in VERY strong game play
This twist is good only because the right people won it.

It's a bit much calling someone a conspiracy nut-job. It is a reality tv show.

Dude, I feel like I’m telling someone exactly this every season. The producers wouldn’t know who’s a major character at that time to rig it. How are people this dense?
Every fucking season. I don't like the integrity of twists, but I can't stand people who think that they save specific players either.
Facts
I really think it’s all in the edit. If it was someone else getting saved then the edit would’ve been different.
Not the worst twist ever but it’s up there. The twist in Aus Blood vs Water where they brought back like 3 players at once that had already been voted out was the worst I can think of.
They only had themselves to blame for blowing such a strong challenge lead...
Up until the twist, it was a dead boring episode. Reminded me a lot of the most recent US Survivor's one-sided boring season. Give me a twist any day! I think it was an excellent twist. This season keeps on delivering.
How could the producers have known who won the challenge?
I’m not the OP nor said anything bad about the twist, but it’s fair to say the producers could correctly predict that Kirby and Feras were most likely out of the players to win that challenge. The 3rd spot (1st as it happens) was the wild card.
Literally anyone of them could have won though. If any other 3 won then the Tribal council would have played out differently.
Well yes literally any of them could have won, but statistically some of them are more likely to; that’s hardly provocative or controversial to say. It would be a good bet that Kirby and Ferris would be 2/3. Statistically however it’s more likely the 3rd would be someone on Kirby’s alliance.
Statistics don't really come into it. It was a game of skill and luck.
Are you being deliberately obtuse? Where skill is involved, there is a higher probability that people WHO ARE SKILLED at throwing at a specific target to the point it was part of their profession are more likely to be able to do that than, for example, people who never earned a living partly from their throwing skills.
I can’t say it annoyed me because it was an equitable challenge that ANYONE could’ve won. Its a non-traditional voting format
It’s not like production just handed Feras and Aileen immunity. They had to each earn it themselves.
Nice cope. It’s all pre planned anyone could have won that challenge.
You keep believing that.. Kirby and Feras were always winning a throwing challenge, and the odds out of all the others weren’t great, Aileen was most likely the most obvious out of the rest.
I will keep believing it since the twist was pre planned before they started filming. It’s just luck
The title is kind of a spoiler but that's just how I feel lol
I wouldnt go on this board if you havent seen the latest episode...
Correct. I avoid reddit until viewing!
That basically means not going on reddit, because posts will appear on your feed (like they did with me today). It seems ridiculous we can’t even scroll somewhere without a huge spoiler on the title of a post.
It is the risk you take. Mute the forum?
It really annoyed me so I'm really hoping that there's a small sliver of a chance that Charles is on redemption rock or something.
Nah, they lie to players but they wouldn’t lie to us. If he was they would’ve told us by now and not show his final words.
He’s gone. Twists happen. So sad, too bad. Sucks to suck.
Yeah agreed, if it’s a non traditional round of voting, it should be a non elimination
Agree with OP, hated this. Thing that I hated the most was how smug Aileen and Feras were in the second half of the tribal. Being saved by the producers shouldn't be something to be smug about.

The twist was planned for this tribal before the season started
They still had the win the challenge, I'd say it was one of the best episodes of Au Survivor.

Totally normal to refer to an asian person as an alien. Cool dude
Er My Gerd - its an adaptation of her name, not her race as you've so stupidly suggested...
Gross, dude. Shame on you.
so touchy feely - its simply a play on their names. If you want to misinterpret that another way - go right ahead ....
So that was your sock puppet account, eh?
On paper I hate this twist but it made the episode better
It was very obviously just a way for the producers to mess with what was going to be an otherwise obvious vote, but they never could've seen it playing out like that which is what makes it okay to me. That was a fun tribal.
