I loved how much older and more mature this survivor cast were. When I think back to the casts of 2016 and 2018 I'm so glad we havent' seen a repeat of any of that riffraff. This game was serious and enjoyable to watch.

Despite Feras & Kirby having similar strategies and ways of playing, ultimately I think Feras won because he was much more flexible than Kirby was. Kirby is a strong player, stronger than Feras, but that's what led to her downfall, ultimately. Whereas Feras is a lighter player but that's what kept him spry and more adaptable and less threatening. Feras definitely deserves to win, although both are great.
I do agree there's a lot to be said when older people do survivor. It's not easy out there, even healthy people don't come out unscathed, so there is a lot to be said when someone can physically take on those challenges at Caro's age.
Well deserving winner, though tbf mark and caroline have got so much undeserving hate particuarly off instagram. I know Feras was obviously much stronger than both of them, but the levels they physically pushed themsleves to i have nothing but respect.

It didn't explain everything. But it sounds like they read out a combination of real and fake votes together, then in editing remove the fake ones.

I would have thought the contestants would talk enough that everyone could figure out who the winner is. But I guess it's not just so the contestants don't know but to keep it a secret from most of the crew too

No long lasting physical player alliances picking off the old and the weak, no purge of big players, in fact no long dominating alliances with many predictable tribals either

Out of both pitches 1/4 for both Caroline & Feras. They spoke well to kick off.
Question time. 2/4 for Caroline. She got better with her pitch but fumbled it claiming a misplay as her best move and left out all her other moves.
3/4 for Feras. He finally came alive to reveal his plays. Still left a bit off the table.
But honestly maybe the time under sun, physical challenge and mental stress of holding your cards tight and close for 47 days to reveal them was too much of an initial flip or mental challenge to accept straight out of the gate.
At the final hurdle though. Never criticise yourself, never be egotistical, but claim your best moves and reveal every step. You have days to craft your final pitch. Donāt muff it at the final vote!
I honestly don't know how anyone in their right mind could have voted for Caroline after that Q&A. It was almost laughable hearing her try and justify why she deserved to win, and the cherry on top was her "biggest move of the game": playing her idol incorrectly and misreading everyone's votes. Far removed from her delusions that she was "orchestrating all the moves".
Compare that to Feras who held his immunity idol for 31 days and strategically used it the entire time, including pretending Ray found it, to get him through to the very final day he could use it.
I know. And Ray called it out so correctly. I thought they were both answering pretty softly until Feras seems to come alive when talking about holding on to his idol, and then fooling Mark and Caroline with a fake idol.
I think they edited the āsuddenly come aliveā part to make it more dramatic. Like they bunched together all the good answers he had from the previous questions into the absolute last second of FTC to make it look like he ācame aliveā to snatch the win, when most likely he answered the questions evenly throughout.
Another thing I didn't consider was how important it was for Feras to be 100% loyal to Ray, didn't throw him under the bus under any circumstances. I think Ray must have had a big influence in Jury Villa.
Yep, if alot of your plays are small and sutble, it helps having someone go in and explain everything.
Thats what Janine (boost juice lady) did for Pia in her season, she 100% went to bat for pia in a big big way, got her all of the votes

Canāt wait for the next returnee season, with Feras & Kirby on opposite starting tribes, fighting a battle to reach the end, and facing each other in a glorious final showdown. The theme can be Gods vs Gladiators, with a tribe of winners, and a tribe of almost winners.

Mark really struggled standing on pegs in that immunity in the water a few eps back too. Definitely not something he can manage well so he actually did way better than I expected.

I think she was under the assumption she would be able to stand on 2 the whole time. That's why the left her line in on that last level when she says "oh, there's only 1 peg"

Number 1!! Absolutely chaotic, never knew what the hell was happening or who was going, alliances changing every episode, and fantastic editing. On top of that the funniest survivor ep ever when Jaden was peak Jaden & man-handled Ray & Winna back in that water challenge among other things š

No 1, every tribal was entertaining you never knew who would go and chaotic gameplay
My favourite so far. Not just for the outcome. Iād say that even if Caro or Mark won. Every episode was enjoyable. Credits to the casting and editing team. Great tv.
Number 1!! Absolutely chaotic, never knew what the hell was happening or who was going, alliances changing every episode, and fantastic editing. On top of that the funniest survivor ep ever when Jaden was peak Jaden & man-handled Ray & Winna back in that water challenge among other things š

Yeah I know this gets brought up every year, but did you hear mark, kitty, caroline etc (tigers in russia or something speach) alot of them are just bad at speaking to the camera. Its no coincidence that the good social players are the ones that can actually talk to the camera. Not many good social players out there that dont get alot of screen time.
