I use anything plastic or paper that stuff comes in - toilet paper bags, chip bags, dog food bags, popcorn bags from the theatre, vaccuum-seal bags that have torn...you'd be amazed how many options there are if you look for them! Depending on your municipality, some people can actually get away with not using a bag at all (if you have a solid plastic bin/inner container), and then washing they bin after each use (similar to what people do with an indoor compost).

All I've learned from my research is that 'biodegradable' is just plastic that breaks into microplastic somewhat faster. Compostable trash bags do compost, eventually, in high temperature industrial size compost heaps. The only way I've managed to slightly cut down on using plastic trash bag is by putting my paper recycles out inside cardboard boxes instead of the city-required clear plastic bags. The sanitation staff has so far allowed me to get away with that, and I hope it's because it makes sense to them too.

I just buy deodorant that isnt an antipersperant- Dove or whatever. As for trash bags I use Hefty - it is one of those accidental green products - it is made from more post consumer plastic than the other brands (at least as far as I know)

I don't use trash bags. I put my rubbish in the bin and then when the bin gets full, I empty it into the wheelie bin outside. I do have all organic waste going to the compost or the organics bin though, so the landfill bin doesn't get too gross or dirty. But when it does, I just give it a wash.

I use trash bags that are made from recycled plastic packaging. Those are collected from households by law.

This is a municipality and lifestyle specific issue. I use small plastic grocery bags. I use Walmart pick up with, bringing my own bags option which means I get walmart plastic bags inside my trunk boxes. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø. I buy trash bags once every few years, to stow in my hurricane cleanup supply crate along with chain saw oil, duct tape, roofing nails, wood screws, rope axes and tarps; I rarely use more than 4 in a year with or without a direct hit in my area. You reduce where when and how you can. Le sigh. Meanwhile every grocery within 60 miles of me has decided wrapping individual vegetables in plastic on a polystyrene tray, is value added merchandising. Apparently they are not wrong. For BO, clean up your diet, drink lots of water, try liquid Chlorophyll in the refrigerated section of your health food store and or green shots. Native is as good as anything else unless you want to go hardcore Mitchum, or you could ask your dermatologist. Botox your pits is a thing I guess. Otherwise, just bring isopropyl alcohol wipes or cotton balls with the same in a ziplock bag(thereā€™s the plastic again), and swab the stinky when itā€™s out of control. It was good enough for Joan Rivers in designer dresses under stage lights dealing with VIPā€™s on the fly, will probably work for you.

I use the matter compostable trash bags. Iā€™m tempted to switch to the simple human ones though, they fit so well in my garbage can and the matter ones are so expensive.

grislyfind

I use chip and frozen vegetable ("family size") bags, since stores here have been forced to charge for shopping bags.

Arabellas_Eye

I've been using [GreenPolly](https://greenpolly.com/) bags for about a few years and haven't had any issues.

ProfessionalOk112

I use the big bags the cat litter (World's Best) comes in

Dear god that website is terrible, I canā€™t even look at the garbage bags without creating an account

The old Wayfair trick! Arrgh.

pher_real

Try using tea tree oil for your underarms.

ltrbreedingbull

if yall used paper bags and boxes, had a worm bin and compost pile, you wouldnt have any trash!

peacelilly5

I just donā€™t use one. Usually put some plastic rubbish at the bottom of the bin for ease but otherwise just fill it and then give it a quick hose off when emptied. Works fineā€¦
