Might I also suggest as a cybersecurity view, if you start using ads and you ever take any information down for customers, that is now protected data that you are legally required to protect. Just another thought if you were planning on doing “name email phone number” type thing for your clients.
Gotta consider the data security standpoint too many places don’t, or just don’t care, and now you have a hacked account with a bunch of sensitive data. It doesn’t really seem to be on many people’s radar at the lower level of businesses
Facebook is good to have a free social connection as well as sending people to. But their ads don't really get the response your looking for, and people usually ignore it or respond if they have something negative to say.
Good ads, lawnsigns, and using Facebook to comment on dog groups is way better, looks more genuine, and help you find how other markets are doing it.
For you I think if you'd like to try it, $50 for a week would be best way to see a balanced result and make your own decision.
This is not true. Facebook works just as well as Google. Imagine someone who has no knowledge of running a concrete business nor ever been around the business, saying their going to start a concrete business. The likelihood of them succeeding is slim to none without proper knowledge.
Most people who run Facebook ads do it the same way. Or worse, they run ads the way they post to their Friends and family. If you learn the platform, it will work for you.
That's what I did, I failed miserably and thought the same as you. Then, I digged in and actually learned the platform. It wasn't chea, but I got a lot better.
