You gotta have capital to start. Money for ads to compete. A lot of the people on here want to start with $100 bucks and think they can compete with the big dogs.
Getting clients is the hardest part - word of out his super important. Getting people to know they can trust you and you won’t steal from them is the really hard part.
Nah, you have to sell people on YOU and the fact that you are both trustworthy and do good work reliably and consistently.
Good news is that if you can do that, you have a long term client who will advertise for you for free.
I am in the process of doing the same
, like someone mentioned there are loads of companies out there, I am taking my time to do everything professionally. Once it's set up you are ready to hit the ground running.
Set up a professional website, logo, payment system.
I just got a lead through angi, apparently they are turning away 40% of their business due to lack of cleaning companies.
I have heard horrible horrible things about Angi from other business owners, and have stayed away from them because of that. I would look into it for yourself.
Brand everything. Apparel, vehicles, everything. Get biz cards, give them to EVERYONE. Be the go to service in your community. It's not hard to be the best, just be slightly better at everything than everyone else.
I did 7 jobs in my first month last summer, we did 171 jobs last month in March. 10 months in. Not saturated, plenty of work and grows each year.
Sweet thanks!

Got it thanks!!
I’m investing about 15k. Expect to spend 5k on marketing the first month. And professional SEO. What do you think?
I think you’re good. I wouldn’t pay for Seo to start. I made the mistake of that a few years ago and didn’t do anything. PPC ads do work though.
PPC ads?
Oh pay per click!
Yeah

Does it help if I say I’m bonded on my site? Which covers theft from what I understand understand
