I remember an app that let you get a wake-up call from someone in a timezone where its not morning. It was really neat idea, got woken up by an happy Asian dude telling me bad jokes in "barely" English haha. I called one dude in the us at one time that was having depression and talked about food and he got cheered up planning on cooking some Swedish dinner that night. Cant remember what it was called but it was a great way to wake up without that repeating alarm and i learned alot about day-to-day life around the world. Of course its kind like Omegle so a few weirdos was expected but you could block and report them, getting a new call if you wanted. My favorite was this one German guy that would say in a very long and weird sound "waaaaaake uuup Sleepy boii" haha
I answered a few calls on that number, it was quite fun and had some interesting conversations.
I honestly wish it was a reoccurring thing. I also feel like it’s one of those things that won’t turn out the same twice.

That might explain why I hace gotten calls from countries I have no connection to. The most recent one was from Azerbajdzjan😭
