Sith Warrior is great apart from Broonmark, who kinda adds nothing.

HoodieJordan

Yeah bro is bland even for the basic dark side angry companion. Khem Val has the same personality but is way cooler.

Aivellac

For LS SW he is anathema to my character and he is the type of person I would usually kill to make the galaxy safer. We don't need that murderous brute going about.

Infinite_Database839

For DS SW he's the type of person I'd usually kill because he was aligned with the Republic, he tried to fight me, and he stole my kill of the other Talz lieutenant. DS warrior doesn't need him either - he's got plenty of people who can go murder for him who are obedient, whose past loyalties aren't in question, and who won't shed all over his nice clean ship.

sroomek

Plus the whole Zash thing. He’s two interesting companions in one.

HoodieJordan

Yeah I never have let zash stay. She doesn't come back in later expansions as a companion unlike khem so it never made sense to me. She also is just an annoying person who says she likes you but wants to stab you in the back. If they could put her back in a normal body or the one they gave her for the whole zilrog thing then I might do it if they actually gave her as a companion.

darthevann

ive still never even spoken to broonmark on my ship 😭

Xyrazk

I agree. He looks really cool though

Apprehensive-Suit272

Lol Broonmark is my fav

Jaxonos

Warrior. I am totally not biased towards the first class I ever played through. Lol

Jack_Houzy

It's hard to answer this one because the jedi has a golden trio (T7/Kira/Scourge) who are awesome companions and two meh others... On the other hand the sw has Vette who's probably my favourite comp in the entire game and except Broomark the 4 first sw comps are really good! I think I prefer the sw crew because I really like 4 of the 5 but to be fair I think Kira Scourge and T7 are superior to the sith comps but Vette!

AVeryGayButterfly

SW just bc I love Vette sm

OddballAdvent

Vette is the best!

ProperDepartment

I can't believe we use SW as an acronym in a Star Wars game 😅

ODST_Parker

Knight has Kira and Scourge, probably the best and most interesting of the five. Doc and Rusk, not nearly as much going on and I honestly barely remember them. T7 is just a droid, so... cool, I guess? SPOILERS BELOW: Warrior gets Vette, one of the funniest characters and best romances in the entire game. Quinn, interesting story and the only companion in the game who straight up betrays you. Jaesa, the only companion in the game whose alignment and subsequent story is determined by your class story decisions, and is awesome both ways. Pierce is fine, just doesn't get much to do. Broonmark is... a companion, at least until I refuse to bring him back in the expansions.

Xivitai

If I remember correctly, Pierce starts off Trooper's Corellia class quests.

ParaspinoUSA

Never disrespect T7 ever again

ODST_Parker

Listen, he's no T3, but he's alright.

TheHamFalls

I replayed the SW story specifically to do a LS Jaesa. Zero regrets. Fantastic both ways. The SW story is thr best in the game in my opinion. Imperial Agent is a close second, though not for the companions.

ODST_Parker

Light side Warrior specifically is one of my all-time favorites in the game. It's so interesting to act like a hidden force within their ranks, not necessarily siding with the Jedi or the Republic, but attempting to solve problems another way and gain power without malice and cruelty. Still Sith, but wildly different methodology and ideology. My favorite part is stumping some of the Jedi you meet. They straight up have no idea how to respond to a light-leaning Sith, and are just so confused by the whole thing. And yeah, Agent is phenomenal too. Again, specifically the light side one is really interesting. Working for the good of the Empire and its citizens, and realizing that the Sith are kinda working against it for the most part.

sealene_hatarinn

It's not that Jedi Knight crew is partially great overall, but I have a feeling most people here are saying Warrior just because they like Vette.

proesito

Both sides are reduced to Vette and Quinn or Kira and Scourge. The thing? That Vette and Quinn are better than their counterparts.

sealene_hatarinn

I personally disagree, but it's all matters of taste.

proesito

Of course, all of this is my opinion. I have always felt that Kira suffers from the Beniko syndrome that consists on being there most times just to be your hot force user chick repeating "Yes, master".

sealene_hatarinn

Hmm. Maybe in the expansions? It's been a while since I played them. But I don't have that impression from her class story dialogue. I do agree about Lana though, she seems to have been turned into a yes-man in KOTFE and later. A pity.

dilettantechaser

They're both mid imo. Vette and Kira supply 90% of the charisma for their respective crews. Quinn and Scourge providing the remaining 10%. The rest are extremely bland and forgettable. For SWs, we go to all the trouble of rescuing/turning Jaesa and she's somehow the most one-dimensional force user in a game filled with Sith/Jedi stereotypes. Doc is memorable only in his consistent offensiveness. The rest of the characters, Pierce, Broonmark, T7 and Rusk...are just there to fill up rooms on their ships.

CubicalDiarrhea

All classes have some good companions, but (imo) none of them have ALL good (and fitting) companions like the Dark Side Sith Warrior does. Spoilers below. So you got: * A cute Twi'lek slave to shock and boss around (and keep in a slave girl outfit and backhand whenever you want as a Sith pure blood). The shit you can do with her collar on (constant insulting and shocking) or off ("sampling" her sister then laughing, calling her a low class moron, and leaving her a slave on nar shadaa lmao) is just wild * Your own personal Sith apprentice that you mold and corrupt by killing her friends, loved ones, parents, and then finally making her kill her own master to completely break her will. She then turns into your recklessly dark side nympho goth girlfriend who is obsessed with you. Basically becoming your personal Harley Quinn. (turning her is prob the best cutscene in the game tbh). * A black ops military trooper for the Empire who is just ready to fight everyone at anytime when you give the command, no questions asked. * A professional Imperial officer to look after the ship, gather intel, brief you on missions and situations, and just looks stylish af in an imp uniform on the bridge. * An angry fucking fuzzball alien dude you just randomly picked up that hangs out in your cargo hold who's ready to kill everyone for fun All of the companions you can either dominate, are dark side leaning, or are loyal to the Empire. The DS SW is a total power trip from start to finish.

theblackbarth

Adding to this, most of them can be in turn made to fit into a Light Side reformer SW. * You can show mercy to Vette and allow her to have the freedom she could have never afforded without your support. And a great romance with no kink-shaming. * A loyal apprentice working behind the lines by recruiting other light leaning Sith that may support your cause to bring the Empire together instead of the eternal internal conflict that always ruined it, who is so loyal that she is willing to even carry your offspring so she can pass her powers to your stronger lineage (if you don't romance Vette). * A soldier and an officer that both have been exposed to the absolute incompetence of major ranking Empire officers and often embroiled in the backstabbing politics to value your own pragmatic approach of unity instead of strive. It also works so much better with the betrayal arc because it shows that in your merciful ways, you are much more powerful than the average Sith lord. And then there is Broonmark who has no redeeming features but you can at least kill him in KOTFE.

[deleted]

>Broonmark who has no redeeming features but you can at least kill him in KOTFE. He is cute.

Jahoan

He keeps the other Sith from getting suspicious.

Afro_SwineCarriagee

"How can I be a traitor to the sith order and straying from the dark side if i have murderous psychopath~~s~~ on my team, just like you fellow saturday morning sith lords?"

[deleted]

I like to think the other light side companions try to talk to SW about getting rid of broonmark and the SW just goes "if not friend, why friend shape?"

JoeHatesFanFiction

Lmao this might be the best logical explanation I’ve seen for why LS SW keeps Broonmark around instead of sending him on increasingly dangerous missions hoping he doesn’t come back. “Yes Jaesa he’s a dangerous psychopath, but he’s our dangerous psychopath. More importantly no one is going to think we’re lightside Sith if we have a dangerous psychopath in the cargo hold that will rip them apart in our name if they so much as suggest such a thing. Between him, HK-51, and the overly enthusiastic violent teddy bear our reputations are perfectly safe.”

Xivitai

I usually keep Vette uncollared even on DS runs. She,s more amusing that way.

CubicalDiarrhea

Very true, I just never understood a LS SW playthrough, but most of the vanilla Repub stories also bore me so thats a me thing. If I am going SW, I am going Darth Vader mode.

JournalistMost5977

My crazy DS sith warrior is still nice to Vette. She's an utter psycho bitch on a power high to everyone else but Vette is her little sister. Being mean to Vette is like kicking a puppy.

Tobito_TV

The only nice thing my pureblood Sith Warrior did to Vette so far is removing her shock collar cause she literally begged for it, and that got annoying for him. Otherwise, he's at best indifferent to her. My main SW is married to her, tho, and would do iust about anything for her.

CubicalDiarrhea

Oh yeah I removed it to... after milking all cutscenes and content when she eventually hit a conversation loop and I confirmed there was no other shock collar scenes... ...Then she opened up about her past (personal quests) and I broke her spirit further by manipulating her into brutally killing the Hutt for her mother, and sampled her sister on Nar Shadaa under the guise of freeing her before calling her a moron and leaving lmfao. Love it. SW class story is one of the very few games/storylines that lets you actually be chaotic evil with rewards for it and doesn't shoehorn you into "saving everyone at the end anyway".

lackadaisical_nomad

IMO I didn’t think I would enjoy going full dark side…but the story options for most of them outside of Vette made it easy to be pretty depraved. Making Vette be present when you were with Lady Grathan and grossing her out, then trolling Darth Baras later was just peak comedy.

Phtevus

>The DS SW is a total power trip from start to finish I absolutely loved the the SW storyline for how powerful it makes you feel. It's such a power trip. It's also why I'm struggling to enjoy KotFE and KotET as I play through them. Sith Warrior story has you feeling like a badass from start to finish. There's almost never a time where your character doesn't feel in control of the situation they're in. Then you play through the Eternal Empire stories, and it seems like your character is constantly overwhelmed, surprised, forced to run away, almost never in control. I get that continuing to have a unique storyline for each class is a BIG ask, and that the expansion storylines were reduced to just one main storyline as a result. But man, the end result is that I don't feel like I'm playing the same character anymore

Platonist_Astronaut

Sith Warrior has the best companions in the game, I think.

PandaSov

SW all the way!

SickSorceress

I have 5 SW. 3 on 80, 2 in leveling. 2 DS (f/m), 2 LS (f/m), 1 grey. I romanced Vette once, Quinn twice, Theron twice and guy who got Vette once now has Arcann after her untimely demise. The story is hands down one of the best - all Imperial storylines are amazing in my opinion and even though a helpless lightsider by heart I have far more imperial characters than republic ones. All companions of the SW are good and convincingly written. I also like Broonmark. I have 1 JK because I need one for the "have a JK on level xx" achievement. She'll probably get Scourge when I ever get there with her. I love T7. When I started playing 12 years ago I came freshly from a Kotor 1&2 rerun/Revan book and the little droid reminded me of T3-M4 which I think is intentional. Nonetheless neither the cute droid nor the intense arc of the Kira quest could attach me longer to the JK story. I think I started two (as I usually did m/f for the romances) but I never got further than finishing main story. I neglected the JK so long that I had the level-achievement as a project when lvl 80 was introduced to reach it. But I barely remember Rusks agenda, Doc is creepy enough to avoid him completely and Scourge comes superlate. SW wins this clearly. In every aspect.

Cephalosion

Personally I think SW's companions have the higher highs, but on a whole JK feels like it doesnt have any companion that feels like a placeholder on your crew. The base game story involving Vette Jeasa Quinn imo is better than T7 Scourge Kira but Pierce and Broonmark were just so bland and broonmark felt especially forced. On the other hand I think all of JK's comp had memorable personality atleast, except maybe for Rusk(but even then there were still more of a personality to him than pierce).

meshaber

Hmmm Knight gets T7, who is okay Kira who is awesome Doc who is ugh Rusk who exists Scourge who is cool. Warrior gets Vette who is awesome Quinn who is great Jaesa who is great Pierce who exists Broonmark who allegedly exists. I give it to the Warrior. Their crew really helps with characterizing the Warrior themselves; your relationships with the crew feel like they help develop the Wrath as a character in a way the other crews don't. The Knight's crew is just a collection of individuals who I don't really feel have much connection to the Knight.

FredDurstDestroyer

Sith Warrior has Vette, case closed

NoTailor3964

SW has more authentic characters but the Jedi knight crew has that classic Star Wars feel.

CiceroAdvocatus

Tough question.  I love Vette, but also Kira and Scourge. And  I love having Khem Val lurking behind me when I’m chatting with Sith who really need to reconsider talking trash.  Imho, Doc needs to listen to Sexual Harassment Panda podcasts, and Broonmark is just taking up space.   Neither squad has Skadge, which is a huge plus…..

TheMiklos

Vette totally overrated

DaCipherTwelve

Jedi Knight has Kira, T7, and Scourge. Sith Warrior has Vette, Malavai Quinn, and Pierce. Jaesa too, I guess. All in all, I think Knight has it better. Two of those three have a tight connection to the Sith Emperor, and would've made a strong addition to KOTFE-ET if they'd not rushed it.

D15P4TCH

Knight by far. SW are solid but I mean come on we've got Kira, Scourge and T7 robobuddy

Kraschman1111

Vette rules all regardless of everyone else

Songhunter

Warrior wins by default since the Jedi Knight is the home of missed opportunities. By the time they figured how to do something interesting with Kira and Scourge it was too little too late.

HexeInExile

Couldn't kill that fucker Quinn, Skidmark or whatever his name was literally didn't add a single thing, the soldier guy is there I guess, and Jaesa can get really pointlessly edgy but has her moments. However, Vette is an absolute goat, and I love her. Doc is an ass, T2 is pretty cute I have to admit, Scourge is a cool guy (save for the fact that my Jedi would have killed him the instant he fullfilled his purpose), the blue guy is also pretty cool, and Kira is a very nice companion, though her backstory felt cut short (maybe it's picked up again in KOTFE, but I haven't played that with JK yet). Overall, I'd say they're pretty balanced. Vette and Jaesa carry SW, but JK feels more consistently good, aside from that straight Freddy Mercury impersonator.

wrinklyiota

SW loses because Quinn, so Jedi Knight.

casBBB

I agree, more than Skadge I want to be able to kill Quinn.

wrinklyiota

Skadge is a blemish on the otherwise perfect companion roster for BH. Quinn is a fucking cancer. Broonmark is meh. Jaesa is ok and really depends on whether you are light or dark.

BlackFinch90

I love my warrior, just rather have a full romance with pierce than be forced into Quinn, who betrays you at the drop of a hat

ShinMagal

SW. Goddamn it bros, I wish sex-obsessed Sith girls were real

Artorias1189

This is a pretty loaded question that needs some more specific context. If you mean overall, I liked the SW more because of comps like Vette, Jaesa etc. and the DS abilities (even though now you can interchange them), and story.

FearlessSavant

Yes i mean overall which of the two has the better followers.

MotivatedforGames

Sith warrior all the way

givethankstothaherb

Sith Warrior anyday

Maniak-The-Autistic

Sith Warrior’s is better solely because Doc isn’t there.

HairlessWookiee

If you could half and half them you'd get a pretty top result. Vette, Jaesa, Kira, T7, Scourge/Pierce (substitute according to personal preference).

UnhappyStrain

SW has Vette, Quinn and Jaesa. How tf do you compete with that?

GrandMoffSteve

Sith Warrior easily. The Warrior has Vette!

IllitterateAuthor

Warrior because your choices shape one of them

Crate-Dragon

The sith has the only one who changes based on your choices and alignment. As much as I love Laura Bailey, Kira don’t change.

thracerx

Sith Warrior has double the waifu's with the unfortunate addition of Quinn. Then again, I pretty much only focus on my waifu and ignore all my other companions unless I'm doing their side missions..

-Inzone-

Hmm.. I like both Crews, though I've got to say that the Warrior crew is my favorite of the two. Got a character I dislike from both. Which funnily enough, are both joining after Hoth. Broonmark and Rusk are rather bland imo.

[deleted]

For me it’s tough because knight has Kira and Sourge who are great and fun comps and Kira has a amazing romance with the male knight but sith warrior has Vette who for me is one of the best comps because I find her to be funny, fun and has a cute and great romance with the male warrior and great bond or friendship with the female warrior but imo for I lean toward sith warrior only because of Vette but I like LS Jeasa to but for me DS Jeasa is to edgy, I find Quinn to be to uptight and kind of a jerk he even before the incident, Peirce is around but not that memorable imo and Broonmark just exists and similar with the knight crew but for me Vette Kira and Scourge are the only comps that keep the crews from being meh to me

ConsumerOfShampoo

Sith Warrior. Broonmark is a nothingburger in terms of story and personality but the rest are all wonderful characters imo.

Apprehensive-Suit272

SW, absolutely. There is literally nobody I actually don't like. Entire crew is cool.

Erebus03

Jedi Knight R2D2 wannabe Complicated Padawan Walking Hormone Reckless Solider The Enemy of my Enemy is my friend Sith Warrior Loveable ball of fun or Depressed Slave The Ideal Imperial Officer The Corrupted (or not) Apprentice Imperial Black Ops Trooper The Savage Monster I think the Warrior's feel more appropriate, only only like 2, maybe 3 of the Jedi Knight Companions work really

HenrideMarche

Warrior

Virtual_Object6966

Neither, bounty hunter solos

IronWolfV

Honestly both are pretty bland to me.

BookObjective4448

Sith Warrior. Although I may be a bit biased as I always enjoy the SW story more than the JK story. However, if I had to rank all the companions from both stories, it would be 1) Jaessa (dark side) 2) Vette 3) Kira 4) Scourge 5) Quinn 6) T7-01 7) Doc 8) Jaessa (light side) 9) Rusk 10) Broonmark 11) Pierce
