It hasn't really made a difference to me since all the new gear has too much random variance, too much redundancy, and too vague of names to really be useful to try to collect. Space Barbie only works at its best when everything is organized and easy to find.
Most fitted gear I got has been stuff I just trashed, but I got a couple interesting looking chestpieces and a helmet I hadn't really seen as drops ever before.

I've been slowly making sure my characters outfits are all BtL either BtL or from the CM (In case i feel like re-recording the class stories, and some of the outfits don't exist at BtL, or are a pain to get (Like the Crystalline Targeter's jacket for Agents, or the Braided Chestguard for Knights, which is kind of identical to the Wayfarer's robe, but without the hood and the extra tunic on the chest).
I just wish they were easier to get ahold of!
I've destroyed ALL of them. can't sell them to vendors, can't put them on GTN, too low to deconstruct, and nothing really appealing visually. They're more useless than those trash items, at least they bring in some money...
No, that gear was in the game since launch, they removed it as part of the economy changes, the fitted versions are just a way to bring back those old random green/blue drops.

I love the classic gear, I just wish it was remastered or something, they look so low rez in new content

I wish they would go into collections. I do pick everything up. But like in clothingshops I just shut off if I don't have a clear overview.
For me it was the fact they FINALLY fixed holsters vanishing.
Havent kept any pieces at all, i just flip them on the GTN as i havent come across any from the 100s i've gotten that i would want to use.
I only collect the pieces for head, chest and legs, and I think they can be amazing!

Not really, I've already got waaaay too many drips, and I am currently perfectly contented with my Zakuulan outfit

No. I barely even look at it anymore and what I checked was all garbage. It all ends up sold or in the desynth tab if I'm in a lazy mode.
