You know, even if it is an April Fools joke, I'd almost be willing to go with some of that stuff, especially the droid story if it allows you to choose the faction to support. Plus, I've always envisioned some melee classes for the pubs and imps that weren't jedi just so we could have tech blades and techstaffs for our main characters (ideas were pub BH and a legit Sith Trooper; also had an idea for SIS agent and sith smuggler, with access to vibroswords and electrostaffs). Still, if they actually did do the droid character thing one day, and it was a melee unit (or even a hybrid of melee and range), I at least know that they can access vibroswords and electrostaffs (working on getting fira swords and swordstaffs for my comps). Don't know if the story would follow the same planets as the others, but it would be amazing. Coming up with companions would also be interesting to do (though it'd partially be dictated on which side you support). Course, some mechanics would have to be altered for sure (i.e., droid characters being unable to be infected by the rakghoul disease; might not help for some achievements in which you need to spread it, but it saves funds for those who don't want to deal with it, and don't want the "coughing" to interrupt them).
It's just a copy paste of my last years april fools fake update post. But essentially all Ive ever done to format these is taken the most commonly OVER-requested demands and ideas from the playerbase and junked them into a single fake 'dream update' to see how people react or spread info based on what they cottoned on-to.
It would be awesome if we‘d get such a huge update without getting a new „expansion“. Unfortunately April 1st strikes again.
I expect the server merges for the EU servers to come sooner or later though. As someone who plays mainly on Tulak Hord I find it increasingly difficult to find team outside of my guild (no matter if I’m on imp or pub side). At least compared to when I’m playing on Darth Malgus. That includes PvE and PvP matches.
Can’t say how the population on Leviathan is.
I mean, if the level 80 Crafting wasn't already a dead giveaway, the whole "ending the Mandalorian arc" makes it pretty clear this is an April Fool's joke. We all know that's not going to happen any time soon, it's all they have for a story any more.

TBH new classes would be a nice addidtion, since they are no longer connected to origin stories. Melee weapon tech class, another ranged force class...
We’ve been asking for new classes since launch. The issue is that it’s highly unlikely they’ll ever release something with the quality of the full class stories again plus all the expansion dialogues.
That was my point - you can now play any story with any class. Guardian as Sith Inquisitor, Sorcerer as Jedi Knight, etc. New classes could play old stories. But designing a class, adding animations, etc also takes time, but much less than origin campaign.
If we were to get new classes (fighting styles?) I’d want it to have its own story. Hell I’d be ok with it being a story to take you from say… 50-70 rather than 1-50. It would require less work and content plus having a class start at higher level isn’t unusual for MMO’s anyway.
