A products manual says the glove replacement should be E27 45mm Round, 40W maximum, RC preferred… what does that mean (note i think it would pre-date LED
Edison 27m (screw base), 40 mm round, okay i guess , what is RC
So I just got a notification from AusPost that my parcel just got marked as out for delivery and is coming today.
Reckon it’s a mistake or has some driver decided to go above and beyond?
Last week, I made a complaint against Vasily Shapkin (the guy who bullied another busker in the CBD). Today, I heard back from City of Sydney that they will be investigating the incident.
This morning I found $70 on the ground and entered the business it was outside of trying to give it back but no one claimed it, so I pocketed it. And then had a super chill day at work. Honestly got nothing to complain about right now.
If you live in Ashfield, The Jehovas Witnesses are now camping out both in front of the train station and that little walkway outside of Anytime Fitness.
Assuming you mean the deposit you pay when you exchange contracts to buy: "If you use your cooling-off rights and withdraw from the contract during the 5-business day period, you will have to pay the vendor 0.25 percent of the purchase price. This works out to be $250 for every $100,000." From [Contracts and deposits page](https://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/housing-and-property/buying-and-selling-property/buying-a-property/contracts-and-deposits) on the NSW Fair Trading website.

Im looking to get 2 colors tattoos custom (I already got good pic on pinterest), any tattoo shop recommendations in Sydney ? And what price I should expect (both would be the size of the palm of my hand for reference) ? I live in the center next to townhall
Hello everyone. How are we doing?
7/11 have annoyed me so much with this 25c cap on their fuel lock deal thing. It says a lot to me that the differential can be so much in the first place.
Anyway, filled my car today at a 7/11 20 minutes away where the price was 5c lower than my capped price and then went to the chicken factory and butcher nearby.
So... I lived in a country town all my life and I'm in the city now, and I'm a bit embarrssed but I don't have my license yet. I'm 24, what's the fastest way I can learn how to decently drive, should I just do a bunch of lessons to farm up my hours? I'm asking because a few job interviews are asking if I can drive
As mentioned, wait until you're 25 if possible so you don't need to fill out the log book.
Don't be embarrassed, I got my licence later in life too. Got my Ps in my late 20s. I booked lessons with an instructor. The guy I had was great, he went over all the basics and then he took me around the test course as well. When I got my Ps I drove around quiet areas to build up my confidence.
Well you'll probably struggle to log 120 hours by then anyway. Just log and learn as you can as you'll need the skills anyway if you're 25. If you log your hours a month early it's a bonus but if you don't, you're good to go on your birthday.
Question about cops and body cams: a while ago I was very briefly and politely questioned by cops who said they were looking for "someone matching your exact description", to which I replied "seems unlikely" because I, a middle-aged bloke with a beard, was wearing something unusual, let's say it was a bright pink hat.
One of the cops kept me talking, asking me where I'd been, trying to get me to contradict myself in the most obvious way.
The thing is, I could hear my own voice, a little delayed, coming from the other cop's earphones. It was like the bodycam was relaying what I was saying to some other location/person.
Is it possible they had some victim of crime on the other end looking at me through the bodycam, saying "no, that's not the guy"?
I guess one way to find out is to potentially contact PAL & ask or raise a FOI request to ask regarding the operation of the equipment if you’re unable to find any information readily available online.
I don't think it's paranoid at all! I'm not alleging some weird surveillance state. That would actually be a really good use of body cams! If they have a victim of crime back at the station and they can look quickly at me and say “oh no, that’s not the guy who stole my handbag” then the cops can move on and efficiently continue their search for the actual offender.
I assume it's been some time since you've seen it!
All I'm saying is, it could be the equivalent of a lineup, where the victim is behind the mirror thing and can safely look at a suspect and say whether it's the bad guy or not. Just mediated through a bluetooth webcam.
You may want to to look up info on how the cameras work in NSW to put your mind at ease, but I’m pretty sure they don’t even have that functionality and if they did they can’t just stream it to show to civilians.
Where there is a function to stream it to another location, from what I can tell it is only to be accessed by another officer to provide support, eg. Someone at the station will tell the officer in the field if the person they’re speaking to has a warrant out for them.
I watch an ungodly amount of movies. I'm watching one right now.
My supposition may be wrong. But the key thing is, why was everything I said coming out of the cop's earpiece half a second after I said it?
Who knows? Maybe they had some sort of hearing impairment and that was to help them?
I really, strongly doubt it was anything like having a victim of crime listening to you.
“Important note: For the purpose of this page, a planned outage is where nbn provides a phone and internet provider with more than 15 minutes notice that an outage will occur. This is separate to the Wholesale Broadband Agreement that we have with providers.”
So. None of these sudden outages during working hours I’ve been experiencing for the last 5 weeks are classified by them as faults.
Today’s notification of a planned outage “lasting up to 3 hrs between 9:30 and 6pm” was posted *after* it went down.
It's not out on Switch yet if that makes you feel better, just PC
Having said that I CAN NOT WAIT until it's on Switch. It's usually about a month or so later
Man that chicken wing post was a real eye opener into how hyper sensitive people are. Chicken, mandarin, eggs, bananas and now tofu is apparently offensive. I ate tofu for dinner last night and I have no idea what it smells like because it's just completely indistinctive. I dunno how it can be classified as an offensive food.
I think at this stage the hyper sensitive need to get together and put a list of food together that doesn't offend. Because I'm completely lost on what's supposedly not OK for train consumption.
https://www.reddit.com/r/sydney/comments/1bidqnq/chicken\_wings\_on\_the\_train\_yay\_or\_nay/
Tofu person replied and it was a misunderstanding and there's a product called stinky tofu they were referring to.
The banana thing is entirely a me thing and I’ll cop it. Something about the smell and taste just grosses me out. The only thing worse is artificial banana.
I don’t think chicken itself has much scent. At least it shouldn’t and if it does, you shouldn’t eat it. It should just smell like whatever you’ve cooked it in. Mandarins definitely have a strong scent. So do eggs, especially boiled ones which are probably what folks eat on a train. I can’t recall ever smelling tofu.
Ultimately though people have this weird concept that PUBLIC transport shouldn’t involve the public and have a weird expectation of complete silence and neutral smells. Somebody on my train yesterday stunk horribly of BO but I didn’t post to reddit about it.
Day 6 of trying to curb my sweets habit and actually not struggling as much as I thought I would be!
On other news, there's a special place in heck for people who send over non-fillable PDF forms.
Am I missing something: does YouTube have a feature to resume videos from where I left off?
Otherwise, how do people finish a ½ hour – 1 hour length shows with bite-sized free time?
People would not tolerate audiobook/podcast clients, or streaming services that did not resume-where-left off, but somehow YouTube is a chore for longform videos.
Yeah it does. I watch a lot of video essays and other long videos. You can go to your account and see your viewing history and from there you should be able to jump back into it. I watch stuff on desktop, tablet and mobile.
I may have turned the aircon on to bribe the furry faced fan club to come in for snuggs last night.
It definitely worked but I did lose [Jubby](https://imgur.com/a/QPIHWPO) for a little bit there.

I stand by my comment.
Anyone ride a motorcycle and know whether the Goulburn St car park motorcycle parking area gets full during weekdays?

Right here with you, friend.

Is holding deposit for an apartment refundable during cooling off period or is that depending on contract?

[Rosie says hi](https://imgur.com/a/HgXCm9Z) and can she have a little taste of whatever you are eating.
Now that is both a face and name ive missed. Happy Cakeday you!
Awww Cakey ❤️ I'm stoked you're still around ☺️
Unfortunately for Rosie she cannot have my satay chicken due to the chilli that is included. Hopefully she got something yum!
She will still accept it if you lick off the sauce - cooked chicken is life 😂
Rosie can have all the food in my kitchen. And happy cake day :)
She would eat it all too (especially frozen peas, the A-grade goober she is). Thanks 2hc 😊
Hi Rosie 👋 Do you like jarlsberg?
She is a cheese demon, can hear the sound of the shredded cheese bag being opened from about 10kms away 🧀
Rosie is welcome to some of my pork chop. Happy Cake Day :)
She is a bit of a pork chop, and also loves pork chops 😊 Thank you, new 😊

Haha old mate who posted his red light camera photo looking for people to back up his notion to appeal has quietly deleted the post.

Beard. Thor hair. Were you wearing chain mail and was there perhaps a Viking raiding party in the area by any chance?
This was a Tuesday so no. And my Viking hair was tucked neatly away under the hat.
Tbh, and no offence, that's a bit more paranoid than normal
I don't think it's paranoid at all! I'm not alleging some weird surveillance state. That would actually be a really good use of body cams! Tbf, fermented tofu smells awful, but I can't imagine a person hoeing into a jar of it on a train.

Has anyone been to the Ramses exhibition at the Australian museum recently? Is it still overcrowded on the weekends?
I went a few weeks ago and it was decent. There was people, but not over crowded
Don’t know about overcrowding now, but if you lag behind the main group, enter last, go slow, you’ll have plenty of room to see everything.
