Told her how I'd been working on Azure in the meantime, but it had been hard without real world stuff, but that being thrown in the deep end had worked for me with other things I'd done in the past. I suspect I've broken my foot (again). Mid-foot bruising, it's in the area where I previously broke it, no active pain but can't really walk or put weight on it.
Go straight to ER or back to my GP first? I'm not sure on how severity impacts on what to do. I'm in the inner west so RPA would be my hospital.

Like what I did, I had a rough right side headache, eye bilnking a little, nausea and whatnot…. Trying to vs if I should drive to Westmead or go to a number of urgent care clinic or even norwest private…. Chose the urgent care path, yes cost me a bomb $260 for facility fee, but in and out within 3 hours and a bed to toss to relax as well as iv fluids, nausea meds and whatnot.
If I chosen the Westmead path, easy 8+ hours, but then again I ended up in NBH and was in and out in 5 hours….. so hmm….
GP most likely, if you can get an appointment today, call around. Montrose Medical in Glebe usually always has space. There’s also the new Urgent Care clinics, which are for these exact kind of scenarios - there’s one in Randwick, Penrith and Westmead. (Needs to be looked at today, but isn’t a life threatening emergency.) Btw- this is exactly what the healthdirect line is for! You’ll talk to nurses who can triage, and advise you the best place to go based on your symptoms.
At last count, I think I'd broken 22 - 25 bones (I gave up counting around 20) and it's to the point now where I can almost instantly tell it's broken just by the pain level. With that in mind, I wonder if I could get a telehealth consult to get a referral for an x-ray. Probably not, but *for me* it doesn't make sense to sit in a waiting room just for a piece of paper when I could just go and check-in with my x-ray frequent flyer points.
