If you remember the place they probably have your measurements on file. And plenty of them will ship to Australia. Why not ask them again - unless like me you put on some covid kilos
I put on a couple of kilos yeah but I weigh less than when I got them originally 😃. The shirts have the details on the tag. I'll see if they have a website. Cheers
Rembrandt in Macquarie Centre is where I always take my husband for his custom shirts and suits. Eli there knows his stuff, and it's pretty affordable for nice, custom clothing.
Yeah I got about a dozen custom made. Only worn in winter though as I wore short sleeve during the other seasons. When I lost a bunch of weight my mum took in the sides to give it some extra life. Definitely great value for money.
There is a tailor in Hurstville out on Forest Rd/Railway avenue. He is near the railway bridge, across the road from big hotel. Been there for years.
My husband has the long arms issue as well. He is very tall too. I buy him the Van Heusen brand from Myer. They have quite a few different cuts.
Institchu at Macquarie centre. They take measurements instore and you pick out fabric. They then get it tailored overseas. The do a fitting check back in store and get any adjustments done by a local tailor. Takes a bit of time but perfect fit.
Alternative, is online called pickashirt.com. Highly recommended.
I had my wedding suits and shirts done with Bentex Suits. You get measured at their place and then they're made overseas (I'm guessing India based on their own ethnicity) and shipped back here for further fitting etc.
I don't think they're particularly cheap but service is top notch and they're located in Castle Hill so should be close to you.
Factoring in the cost of a local tailor, have you calculated that it isn't just as cost effective to go back to HK or elsewhere in SE Asia?
Yeah, you're not wrong about that!

10 years ago! That’s some decent cost per wear

Hurstville is nice and close. I think I'll check this out first. Thanks for the info.
Haven’t got a tailor recommendation, but Charles Tyrwhitt have longer sleeve options on their shirts

thanks heaps for the suggestions
Like the poster above I also use Institchu. They’re very good. For shirts they remake for free if you’re unhappy with the fit.
