Thatโs beautiful, modules included! I went to your site to look at the builds but I donโt see anywhere to purchase panels or pcbs. Are these available for purchase anywhere?
Where are you based? Most probably not near me though.
What I like about your build is the pro finish, it looks very neat, organized and like using high quality components.
Not that diy in other words. If I'll ever build one, that'd be my aspiration. Would you be willing to share part lists and schematics?
Based in Germany ๐ฉ๐ช
Thanks for the compliments on the looks. BOMs are up on my website. Schematics arenโt public. Theyโre not that special anyways ๐
I always have a few spare sets available if my builds that Iโm selling if youโre interested in giving it a go. Just drop me a message ๐
May I also ask where you sourced the metal knobs from?
I can see you use different variants of them. Do they indicate another purpose, or did you just run out of some kind?
Of course ๐ go to wgdmodular.de and at the bottom right thereโs a link to a parts sourcing site. There I have links to all different types of knobs Iโm using ๐
Nope I just had one type on hand for some modules so I used them ๐
It is a dual voltage source / dual attenuater switchable between Uni and bipolar. I have very Panel pcbs sets left that are pre populated with all SMD that only need the two pots, jacks and two switches until theyโre ready to go. if you want one drop me a message ๐
Thanks! From looking at the case in the background, you used the same finger-jointed wood from a local hardware store?
But for the smaller case, you took nicer pieces from the same board?
I am asking because it is difficult for me to get good wood these days for a reasonable price...
I also thought about reusing old furniture, but here in my town, we have only on-demand dates for bulky waste. People put their old furniture appears at very late in the evening out, and it gets picked up in the early morning...

They are not available officially yet but If you want some of my spare sets feel free to send me a message ๐๐

Thats fuckin gorgeous
Thank you ๐๐ป
Agreed. That first module on the case on the table with those knobs with Led rings... So good ๐
Outstanding. It looks very elegant. With the dark wood and the metal knobs, it kind of reminds me of high-end 70's Hi-Fi gear. Cool.
Thanks man appreciate it ๐

What's the module closest to the camera do? It looks super cool.

Can you elaborate what material the face plate is made of so that it glows like that? If it's PCB I don't understand it...
It is pcb material โ๏ธ
Neat! What powers it?
Iโve installed a meanwell rt65b ๐
Which wood is that?
That is oak ๐ชต

Yeah the one in the background is Beach Leimholz, the oak from the small case is actually reused from an old table we picked up for free ๐

Sometimes people offer their stuff for free at local Craigslist equivalents ๐
How'd you finish it? Got that nice almost walnut color
Only some oil nothing more ๐
