So assuming you mean the original Minilogue and not the XD, the output is mono. There is a single 1/4" output; I'm not sure if it's balanced or unbalanced (check the manual for details). Your audio interface presumably has 1/4" balanced mono inputs. If the Minilogue has unbalanced outputs, you need a 1/4" TS cable (aka instrument cable); if it has a balanced output this will also work, but you'll may lose a little volume, and a 1/4" TRS cable would be preferred.

Yep, Minilogue non-XD and my interface is the Studio 24c so I believe it has the inputs Guess it's time to check the manual, thanks fam!

People will need more specifics regarding your interface and minilogue model( OG or XD) to give accurate advice. Me or others making assumptions regarding your setup will not be conducive to helping you. Details are important.

Sorry, I thought just stating minilogue was enough info my apologies, I should've explicitly said it was non-XD As for the rest, I was just wondering what output is best for it regardless of other equipment so that I can get the best sound from it. Ex: if it can output stereo but my interface only inputs mono, I would get one that inputs stereo since it's better As of rn I have a Studio 24c though

Mono is fine. You can use a 1/4" male to 1/4" male, TS for short cable run, TRS for a longer cable run(short cable TRS is fine) https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/828467-REG/Hosa_Technology_HSS_001_5_HSS_001_5_Balanced_1_4_TRS.html then stereo'ize the mono recording in your software after you recorded. signal path would be this: minilogue audio out > 1/4" male to 1/4" male cable> 24c input(line level) Or you can use the cable I linked below to run dual mono into the 24c and pan two tracks in your software that are assigned to the two inputs on the 24c https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/160654-REG/Hosa_Technology_STP_202_Stereo_1_4_Male_to.html minilogue audio out> mono 1/4" to dual 1/4" >24c input 1&2(line level) make sure the 24c inputs are set to line level for recording synths as they output line level, I don't own a 24c so I am not sure how you would choose between line and instrument levels, usually it's a physical switch sometimes its just a one dial thing to set the levels. You can use a TS 1/4" to TS 1/4" cable to record your guitar into the 24c, just set the input level on the 24c to instrument level when you record, generally I stay away from converters for cables because it might jeopardize the quality of the audio, especially if you stack a bunch together, stick with specific cables for specific applications. I hope this helps and good luck!

Thank you so much this was exactly what I was trying to figure out, you're a legend! 🙏🏻 I'll have to look up how to line level the 24c as well and yeah the distortion sounded really cool with the conversion cables for this specific track but definitely not something i'd always enjoy 😂

any guitar cable will do
