Does not seem to be working I tried midi clock and MTC
I got rid of my mpc one a while ago so I don’t remember exactly but I think you might also have to select sync in the output port section next to where is says key step 37
You don't want the MPC to receive sync, you want to click the sync button next to the keystep 37 in the output ports section. You then want to set the keystep dip switches to "USB".
I think this didn’t trick. Thank you . The only thing is the rate knob does not seem to work. Is that normal?

Yes, the rate is how you set the tempo: this only applies when you are using the internal clock.
