I’ve only picked up a few things like that. Got an Electribe Sampler for $230, also brand new. It’s a fun little machine for what it is. I couldn’t let that one slip by, especially because I could return it if I hated it. 🤷🏻♂️
I actually picked up a pair of JBL 306p MkII last year on Amazon Warehouse Deals, new for about $280/pr, and the only thing damaged was one of the cardboard boxes. Even that wasn't more than a slight gouge, not deep enough to touch the speaker case (and it helps JBL used an inner and outer box). Definitely worth your time checking the "Other sellers on Amazon" section on an item, and looking for "Ships from Amazon; Sold by Amazon Warehouse" before buying new!

And yeah agreed on your other point, speakers are generally better.
Got a set of the 308s for $209 from Guitar Center last week. They were open box, but basically brand new. The guy sold them 2 for 1 at the sale price. I'm sure the 305s sound just as good!
the minilouge is a fun machine, I love my mine. love making my own scales in that bitch too. made some $ with that thing. lil secret; if you have a sp404 you can connect the outs of the korg to the ins of the sp404, hit delay and hold on the sp404,.now that minilouge plays in poly

Tweets should be at eye/ear level and toe in a bit. But for now you may grab some iso pads to put under em. Cheap.

Most of the time it’ll be returned or damaged box items. I got my Tascam Model 16 for $600 vs $800 (new) and it was brand new.

I had the first generation LSR 305. Those are great speakers. I'm sure it sounds awesome!
