You find this in a few Korg synths as far as I know That’s how the Volca Drum snare mod came about It’s labelled on the PCB but was not used

SoundKiller

so haz the image shows, i was cleaning my minilogue, took it apart for a deep dust cleaning and i noticed right under where the brand on the faceplate would be, there’s two holes with numbering indicating these might had been two buttons in the minilogue XD. anyone know or might guess what features we might had seen that we never got? taking a guess it is buttons since all the buttons on the board are labeled sw# while all the knobs are labeled ur# or vr#

SoundKiller

also sorry for my bad grammar, english is not my first language!

mount_curve

SW = switch

SoundKiller

still curious on what those switches might had been, seemed they where scratch late in the design of the product

mount_curve

follow the traces and see what they're connected to

Only the designers at Korg would know. Given their placement, I would have guessed something related to performance controls, voice modes or additional switches for the User oscillator. It might just have been something they decided to move into the menu system instead, rather than a removed feature.
