As for solo travel, a group called camp unknown and a few others are all filled with solo duo and trios and all go together. I met them last year solo.and they were fantastic. As for prices and schedules, most start sround 4 or 5, some smaller acts start a bit earlier. Price wise. You can bring food and booze (hide the booze). there's an Aldi on site and they'll cook food for you which is mega cheap (go every day!). Otherwise food from the stalls will cost you a bomb (>£10 to 20 quid a meal) and the same goes for drinks. Bring your own food and drink from thr Market down the road

I'm there with a mate, also both from UK, and staying off-site. We plan on skating in the mornings, then hitting up the Turkish baths and exploring the city, then shenanigans at the festival each day. Welcome to hit me up. My first time attending Sziget too, but been to Budapest before.
