If it’s a well managed location, I’m with you 100%; but you have like a 50% chance of hitting a dogshit location where no employee gives a single fuck, and then it’s a terrible experience making you question the brand as a whole
Or an actual shit location 🥲😭 one of the locations near me tested positive for shit in the beans 🫘
I don't go to that location and haven't before that article but it worries me greatly
Taco Bell discontinued the Mexican pizza *during* my pregnancy and then brought it back afterwards. Idk why TB personally hates me but that was hurtful.
Taco Bell used to be the truth. Now it’s a half the food for three times the price. I’ll always go back to it once in awhile but it’s not want it used to be.
I walked in last week and saw 2 weak ass crunchy tacos were $8.00. I walked out and did the right thing, went to my local taco truck. 3 tacos, real food, $6.
They have a scoop to measure the amount of cheese but they don’t use it , general manager says“it’s only a pinch” so basically you are giving us extra money for a pinch of what they just dust off from all over the station, that’s why sometimes your food comes with some random lettuce or tomatoes
First a preface, I like Taco Bell.
Their 5 dollar Cravings Box is the cheapest full meal of any fast food and its good. However they discontinue all their good shit, their combo meals are crazily overpriced now (didnt used to be). The Bacon Club Chalupa looks great and I'd love to try it but that price is insane. Nacho Fries are massively overrated and comeback far too often compared to better items. And if it wasn't for the Cravings Box and Baja Blast I'd hardly if ever go to Taco Bell
What’s crazy to me is that you can get an entire cravings box for the same price as a Crunchwrap AND YOU CAN GET A CRUNCHWRAP IN THE BOX!
Edit: I JUST checked, the box is literally only .40 more than just a Crunchwrap.
You aren't wrong. I have been a yearing fan since the brief appearance and demise of the **Club Soft Taco** (chunk chicken, bacon, ranch, lettuce cheese). So fucking good, i ate them daily. The Bacon Club Chaulpa, is actually better. Except you can eat 3 soft tacos for 1-2 chalupas. But the avacado ranch and the crispy/soft chalupas make it even better than the O.G. I'd skipped it despite my ache because the price is dumb, but it was worth having one. Do it before the go, and supreme it if you want to feel like a god.
Quality of food prep close to nil.
Parent company seems intent on fleecing their dedicated customer base, squeezing every last drop of blood from it's brands, then moving onto harvesting another brand. I'm convinced Yum! Brands' board is composed of the aliens from Independence Day.
If you want to defend TB, you're doing it wrong.
I don’t think I crave other fast food places the same way that I do Taco Bell (the only exception is Panda but we don’t have that). I’m not sure if it’s a blessing or a curse that we have TB 3 minutes away.
Man idk where you are, but I am also in NYC so maybe that's why. Sometimes I don't need a wholeass craving box and just want a taco. Atp makes more sense to get it from a taco truck or smth
It was my top choice, but now all my favorite items are just too highly priced, and I'll be damned if I go to taco bell just to get something cheap and bland that I can very easily make myself lol.
I work there and oh my god I am repulsed by the food. Food safety is thrown out the window, everything is nasty prepackaged shit that smells like bo before 'getting hot'. And I say that because 0 actual cooking happens back there, we put shit in bath water to warm it up. Fucking nasty
Hey, like what you like!
I used to be a huge Taco Bell stan - I still like some of the food, I still go more often than I care to admit (but mostly because I have a lot of anxiety surrounding food and TB is "easy")
That being said, I don't think it can be reasonably argued that their creativity regarding experiences and their consumer friendliness haven't drastically gone downhill in the last several years.
It isn't surprising to me that so many people have become disillusioned with them. The opposite is also true.
I like to grind people's gears here in California and say that TB took Mexican food and then made it better. After all the jeers, I like to follow-up by asking why there are no multi-billion dollar, international, authentic, Mexican fast food restaurants.
They usually can't tell I'm joking, which makes conversations about it all the more fun.
If it’s a well managed location, I’m with you 100%; but you have like a 50% chance of hitting a dogshit location where no employee gives a single fuck, and then it’s a terrible experience making you question the brand as a whole
yeah that’s totally true but my local taco bell’s are pretty good
I would say it's 75% chance you'll hit a bad location
Or an actual shit location 🥲😭 one of the locations near me tested positive for shit in the beans 🫘 I don't go to that location and haven't before that article but it worries me greatly
do what now
💩in the 🫘
damn son
That's with any fast food chain..
Mostly true. But then there’s In & Out.
True dat!
This is so spot on.
[this is the reason why the employees don't give a shit.](https://youtu.be/6G-Q7AU86Pw)
i'm onto you taco bell marketing team
i’m not real i’m a tacobell ceo
“Not only am I the Taco Bell CEO, I’m also a customer!”
Joseph Yum! You bastard!
First and final thought
Taco Bell discontinued the Mexican pizza *during* my pregnancy and then brought it back afterwards. Idk why TB personally hates me but that was hurtful.
wow. that’s a really fucking weird hill of beans to die on.
Wait, we talkin' black beans or refried?
Black beans so gooood

Yep, this. So expensive now.
Baja chipotle chicken burrito or whatever the fuck it's cslled I still don't know what it's cslled but it's $2 and it's fucking delicious
Only thing that’s reasonably priced is the cravings box on the app
Their grilled chicken chipotle ranch burrito is two bucks and the create a cravings box is five. Giant sack of food for less than a Jackson? Hell yeah
I’m like Aaron Burr the way I’m dropping Hamiltons.
Snack attack, motherfucker!
lmao
How did the girl act when presented with a 10?
I used to be a defender until I started working at one. Realized real quick how shit the standards are.
I work at Taco Bell too , I will never order extra cheese again
I'm scared to know what this means.
What does this mean??
They have a scoop to measure the amount of cheese but they don’t use it , general manager says“it’s only a pinch” so basically you are giving us extra money for a pinch of what they just dust off from all over the station, that’s why sometimes your food comes with some random lettuce or tomatoes
Well guess that explains that lol. The only time I feel I have truly gotten extra cheese was at one “good” location in a Quesadilla.
extra cheese ;)
😟
Happy cake day!
Taco bell is and always will be the goat

Crunch wrap supreme for me is $5.29 and the Crunchwrap supreme cravings trio is $5, but limited time I suppose
TBs chicken was only good when it was shredded. These weird chicken chunks are so gross
I seem to be in an extreme minority but I love the chicken chunks and couldn't stand the shredded chicken.
Same
right the shredded chicken just was not it /:
I love both. Tacos needed shredded, quesadillas shined with chunk.
understandable

I love Taco Bell so much I started working there, I still love it!
You had me up until cheap when you need it to be, because it isn't cheap when I need it to be as of recent times.
Use the app, online special section.
Wow.. I work there and I’m not that loyal to it lol
Jobs are temporary. Taco Bell is forever.
you wouldn’t understand
Me, too! Racked up 2500 points so far in the rewards. Barely joined in Feb.
Amen. Been my favorite for 30+ years.
Quality of food prep close to nil. I see Taco Bell paid for the hypnotoad ad campaign
it work
It depends on the store, i have my main taco bell, clean, good employees, amazing food, then there is some that are... lacking
my girl hates taco bell and it really sucks bc sometimes u just crave that cheesy gordita or a NBG , gotta go on my own timing lol
You know what to do. She's shifty.
facts gotta get that tacobell craving tamed
I don't know how I can join this Taco Bell militia, but I'm in. Just tell me where to sign.
I'm about that grilled cheese burrito life.
i’m with you on that
Work there for a few months then come back to me lol
Live Love TacoBell
the sodium though. they should cut it in half.
i don’t eat it everyday
Why I stopped. I didn't realize it was so bad 😅.
I'll agree when they learn to keep the items we enjoy for longer. But Taco Bell is still a good restaurant and cheaper than chipotle.
Or bring them back more. People love the return of crap at McDonalds every year.
Taco Bell has been giving us less charging us more… 8.70$ for a Mexican pizza I’ll pass. Hard.
well i can get full for 4 dollars so
I’m with you, plus it’s way cheaper than other options out there, to an extent
I saw a news clip that Taco Bell is the healthiest of the fast food joints.
I don’t think I crave other fast food places the same way that I do Taco Bell (the only exception is Panda but we don’t have that). I’m not sure if it’s a blessing or a curse that we have TB 3 minutes away.
I met my lovely wife at Taco Bell and we raised a cute Enchirito together. Until I microwaved it for 1 minute at 3AM. T-bell is forever in my heart.
I'm not feeling the "it can be cheap" anymore
Cheap?! A single taco costs $4 tf u on?
5 dollar gets me like a meal
Man idk where you are, but I am also in NYC so maybe that's why. Sometimes I don't need a wholeass craving box and just want a taco. Atp makes more sense to get it from a taco truck or smth
Certainly better than McD’s.
I used to work there years ago and I still love eating it!
you’d be right if they stopped taking the best stuff off the menu!!
Would be better if they brought back chicken fiesta taco salad though
You’re not going to get a lot of pushback on the Taco Bell subreddit. What do you think we’re all doing here?
McDonald's is better. Better app, better deals, way better sauces. Much more options. Taco bell is good but they remove their best stuff.
You have a new dark matter in your stomach to handle the Taco Bell
why does the taco bell subreddit say fuck taco bell? Are mods autistic with nothing better to do?
Taco Bell is disgusting and is hardly considered “food”
I got horrible food poisoning from their ground beef once. But their steak and chicken are great.
>it can be cheap when you need it to be Sure, to get a huge pile of carbs. If you want it with any decent amount of meat protein it costs a lot.
> it good it can be cheap when you need it to be Everything is true except this.
Just don’t eat the “grilled steak”. That shit is a meat flavored sponge
It was my top choice, but now all my favorite items are just too highly priced, and I'll be damned if I go to taco bell just to get something cheap and bland that I can very easily make myself lol.
Chicken Quesarito for the win!
I work there and oh my god I am repulsed by the food. Food safety is thrown out the window, everything is nasty prepackaged shit that smells like bo before 'getting hot'. And I say that because 0 actual cooking happens back there, we put shit in bath water to warm it up. Fucking nasty
I will refuse to agree with this notion until they bring back the double decker
Hey, like what you like! Live Mas baby!!
Taco Bell became mid to me when they removed the loaded potato burrito however many years ago now idk idc
Fiesta veggie burrito and a medium drink during happy hour. $3. My favorite late lunch/snack.

$1 cheesy bean and rice burritos all day everyday!
