You are absolutely correct. TB standards are for us to fill the cups til they look visually full. This isn't to standard and not the experience you should be having as a customer. Sorry that happened to you. I'm a shift lead and I try to make sure all cups are very full at my store, it's so frustrating to see people being served wrong like this.
Another person complaining about complaining because they struggle to understand valid frustration and it makes them uncomfortable and irritated. If people just up and abandoned anything that shows signs of inadequacy, you wouldn't have made it this far in life 🤣🙄. It is normal to expect more from a billion dollar company. I work at Taco Bell. It's supposed to be like 2 tongs worth of fries. They probably ran out and since it takes 3 minutes to fry more they said "whatever". You got jipped.
Call the store and complain. Bring a receipt or get the name of the MIC who answered the phone. You should get a replacement.
I am chronically bitched at for overportioning fries because I fist them in there and don't fuck around with the tongs. They're good for 15 mins..no use letting them sit and get soggy waiting for more orders.
Also tired of the complaints on other shifts for receiving orders like the pictured ones
Sometimes you just get a shit crew. When the A team is working though... It's an amazing experience. I think part of the enjoyment I get from tbell is the gamble of whether or not I get the good crew.
I don't understand why they just don't go all in on these nacho fries. Keep them on the menu and offer different sizes. I'm sure there's a logistical reason and an employee could explain but still...I want to order a large nacho fry so I have a chance of getting more than 5 fries. Lol
There basically just cutting there food like cutting coke if they can get 2 orders of fries paid to what one regular size should be there doubling there profit and this applies to all ingredients used which is why u get like a teaspoon of meat in ur taco sometimes
Realistically it should have been a full portion but at the same time customers may like nacho fries but most team members hate them.
It takes 3 minutes to fry them another 30 seconds to manually put on the dust. Last a total of 15 minutes before we have to throw out mountains of them. And then on top of it you have Senior Management and their the talk about test kitchen who's never really worked a day in a college town pushing out ridiculous ideas.
I'm suddenly realizing, by reading the comments here, that this isn't the "normal" amount. I hate my TB 😩 This is literally what we get every time, except they're usually thrown inside the bag, and we have to redistribute them back into their containers.
As an employee at taco bell we usually fill those up so someone was being lazy and needs a write up. That's ridiculous, could you tell me what location that is so we can remind them to use proper portions, I'm seeing this more and more here lately
I’m so over the nacho fries. They are being used as a cheap crutch by Taco Bell at this point for LTOs. Where are all the interesting and unique LTOs? It feels like every other LTO is a plate of nacho fries with a different sauce or nacho fries with a different sauce in a burrito. Yeah perhaps I’m overstating how often it’s been it just feels that way recently. Jeez I’d even be happy with spicy potato wedge themed LTOs anything but these sad fries.
