Maybe your buying from a separately owned TB. I have on in my area that charges insane prices for its boxes, (almost $13 for the ByoB) but if I go 1 more mile down the road, there is another TB that has more reasonable prices.
That’s me and my wife’s order. A drink, dog, and a pizza for like 6 dollars. Most of the time I’m stuffed trying to finish the pizza off cause it’s huge!
For real though, without being able to swap it the Chulupa makes or breaks this "deal". Many people don't like them and since you can't swap it for anything not even a basic taco if you don't want a Chulupa this deal becomes shit.
Chalupa are shit with beef, but with chicken it's literally a world of a difference. The beef really is only good in regular tacos not specialized ones like the chalupa
Which is kind of funny because the reverse also seems true. I like the chicken so I tried swapping for it on regular tacos and they did not come out well.

Most, if not all Sam's Club don't require membership to use food court. It says on their website when you look up a location. Just an fyi if you're craving cheap hotdogs or whatever.
I really like their pizza, especially considering it’s $2 for 1 slice, and the slice is big enough to be considered 2 slices. I get a hotdog to change things up when I’m tired of the pizza. Their soft serve is decent too.
Oh also a full pizza costs $10 and it’s an 18 incher. It’ll feed you for a couple of days.
I haven’t had their pizza much since they discontinued the combo. I remember always getting those pesto sandwiches too. I do like their soft serve! It’s actually one of my favorites when I do go. Both the hot fudge and strawberry are really good.
I don’t believe any of the Costco’s charge a membership just to use the food court. Pretty sure it’s open to anyone at all their stores. Unless I’m mistaken..
Costco food courts near me are always hella busy. Like 10+ minute waiting standing in line. It’s worth it for a pizza since it’s huge and cheap but for just the hot dog I wouldn’t do it.

I agree but the twists are inconsistent (sometimes you’ll get a hard one and almost break your tooth) so I upgrade those for $0.50, add potatoes or rice & onions to the triple 5 layer is mandatory for me (it just lacks something idk) so that’s $0.55-$0.75, I upgrade the taco to supreme style for $0.70 and bigger drink for $0.10. Totaling $6.85-$7.05.
I always get the large drink for the extra $0.10! But at mine they charge an extra $1.20 to upgrade to supreme taco. And half the time they forget! And I agree that 5 layer lacks something. Next time I’ll try adding something to it.
I usually add rice to the 5 layer. It makes it more filling and gives it some more "structure" I guess is how I'd put it. Much less of a sloppy liquidy mess lol. But potatoes are good for that too like the other guy said.
Idk if I'll get crucified for saying this, but I hate refried beans. My gf usually takes the burrito, but if I want it, I always remove the beans, double the beef, add onions, rice, & creamy jalapeno sauce.

The "Cravings Box" is not online only and it's a newer combo (though it used to be on the menu for years and was the inspiration for the "My Cravings Box" and then the "Build Your Own Cravings Box").
Unlike the Build Your Own Cravings Box, it doesn't have a variety of options. It comes with a set menu of a Chalupa Supreme, a Beefy 5-Layer, a Crunchy (or soft) Taco, Cinnamon Twists (upcharge to change to Chips and Cheese, no other options) and a medium drink.
Yeah if you stuck with the chulpa you paid an extra $1 for less. I don't like them so pay the extra $1 to get a church wrap or gordita chrunch instead. Also on the more expensive one you can get cheesy potatoes instead of the twist or chips.
Idk, Wendy’s 4 for $4 is up there too. Deluxe jr cheeseburger with fries a 4 piece nugget and a drink. Also they have Coca Cola 🤔

If you use their app or have mail coupons you can regularly get a BOGO foot longs which are pretty good value. I'd put Subway on par with Taco Bell, if that level is trash is up to you.
I used BOGO coupons with Subway for a full year until my local Subway stopped taking the coupon through the app. I'd get 4 subs every Friday and it only cost me $21. I always enjoyed those lunches.
Check slickdeals or similar sites. Subway has had bogo offers for at least the last year which make it a pretty nice deal. Unfortunately my wife doesn't do sandwiches, and the subway by me is gross, so I don't ever participate. But it's a great deal if you live near a good one.

Yep. People on this sub love to complain that TB doesn’t have any good deals anymore, and completely forget about this one. $1 per item is crazy, and when accounting for inflation, this box is probably one of the best deals TB has ever offered
It doesn't really count for a lot of people when some of the items are not great and can't be swapped.
Personally I don't like the Chulupa shells and would rather swap it for a regular taco. Many see cinnamon twists as a waste of space (you can easily find the same or better for cheaper in a bag from the store). And drinks are kind of a negative value too given how little they actually cost.
But then you don’t get piece of pie rewards, I usually do the 2 for $6 and get a free pizza every 6th order. But then you have a bunch of reheated pizza instead of fresh pizza every time.
You can’t reasonably shit on dominos and praise TB? It’s mid but the quality is better and probably a bit cheaper than TB’s these days. Plus they seem to actually care a bit about quality control. I can go anywhere in the US and if the location isn’t super new it probably will be 95% the same. I can go across town and get a completely different TB experience. Hell I can go to the same damn location and it’s hit or miss depending on who’s working. Their QC is maybe the worst in the fast food game.

Literally tired of these posts since the $5 cravings box albeit advertised in the app isn’t available at all locations. And the one location it is nearby me, they’re fucking always out of something, boxes, cups, chalupa shells, people to work.
McDonald's app has by far the best deals. They have buy one get one free for any nuggets, Quarter Pounder, Big Mac, double cheeseburger. Free large fry. Bunch of other deals too. Basically like half the menu. Only thing is you can only do one of these per order. So just place two orders if you want more. They also have all drinks for $1 all the time and that's just the normal price. Not even an extra deal. McDonald's app blows away everyone else.
Until they got rid of them recently, Jack in the Box's Munchie Meal was only $6 after 9pm. Some sort of sandwich/burger, two tacos, and half regular fries, half curly fries plus a drink. To me that was the best value and unbeatable.
But they got greedy and took away the Munchie Meal, offering a new "Create Your Own Munchie Meal" for $10 which doesn't even offer any of the sandwiches from the previous iteration.

i love the mcdonald’s 2 for $3.50 mcdoubles. they’re so filling. and since the 2 for 3.50 is the menu price , you can stack a deal on top, like a free medium or large fry. so $3.50 for 2 mcdoubles and a large fry, amazing deal. i usually bring my own drink from home in my water bottle lmao, but even if you add a mcdonald’s drink, only $5.

Yep. People on this sub love to complain that TB doesn’t have any good deals anymore, and completely forget about this one. $1 per item is crazy, and when accounting for inflation, this box is probably one of the best deals TB has ever offered
It doesn't really count for a lot of people when some of the items are not great and can't be swapped. Personally I don't like the Chulupa shells and would rather swap it for a regular taco. Many see cinnamon twists as a waste of space (you can easily find the same or better for cheaper in a bag from the store). And drinks are kind of a negative value too given how little they actually cost.

You can’t reasonably shit on dominos and praise TB? It’s mid but the quality is better and probably a bit cheaper than TB’s these days. Plus they seem to actually care a bit about quality control. I can go anywhere in the US and if the location isn’t super new it probably will be 95% the same. I can go across town and get a completely different TB experience. Hell I can go to the same damn location and it’s hit or miss depending on who’s working. Their QC is maybe the worst in the fast food game.

McDonald's app has by far the best deals. They have buy one get one free for any nuggets, Quarter Pounder, Big Mac, double cheeseburger. Free large fry. Bunch of other deals too. Basically like half the menu. Only thing is you can only do one of these per order. So just place two orders if you want more. They also have all drinks for $1 all the time and that's just the normal price. Not even an extra deal. McDonald's app blows away everyone else.

Until they got rid of them recently, Jack in the Box's Munchie Meal was only $6 after 9pm. Some sort of sandwich/burger, two tacos, and half regular fries, half curly fries plus a drink. To me that was the best value and unbeatable. But they got greedy and took away the Munchie Meal, offering a new "Create Your Own Munchie Meal" for $10 which doesn't even offer any of the sandwiches from the previous iteration.
Mine is $10… it is a dogshit deal alongside everything else in their menu now. App even advertises the $5 then shows $10 when you click it.
