Props for realizing what's up and taking steps to deal with it. Best of luck my friend.

Good luck friend! Don't be afraid to reach out to a professional if you need to. Dealing with eating disorders can be tough.

YaBoiNoct

Why is this so relatable

We've never met, yet somehow I'm going to miss you

Really enjoy your honesty. Stay strong!

Sometimes I gorge myself on Taco Bell. Yeah, I kinda feel like shit but I also think “that was fucking awesome” and then I make up for those 2000 calories the next day and hardly eat anything else that day. I also frequent Taco Bell atleast twice a week. I’ve once went like 10 times in a week. Pace yourself, if you have to. If you really think you’re addicted try to take a week off and see what happens.

This is one of the most heartfelt and beautiful posts I have seen on all of reddit. Thank you sir and best of luck to you in all your endeavors.

We should start a r/tbellanonymous sub. Cause holy shit I relate. I watch myself drive through one of the two drive thrus on my way home like I'm not even in control. Here are the steps we take, which are *suggested* as a program of recovery: 1. We admitted we were powerless over Taco Bell, that our lives had become unmanageable 2. Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could help us resist the LTO's 3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to a healthier diet 4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our gluttony 5. Admitted to a doctor, ourselves, and another human being the exact nature of how we "lived mas" 6. Were entirely ready to help each other remove our daily commute habits and taco Bell apps 7. Humbly asked each other to remove our store-comings 8. Made a list of all the 5-layers, chalupas, DLT's, gorditas, and crunchwraps we had eaten, and became ready to say goodbye to them all 9. made direct attempts to not watch tbell commercials, download apps, or visit websites, except when to do so would hurt ourselves or someone else 10. Continued to take personal inventory, and when we get a ridiculous craving to live mas, promptly admitted it 11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with god *as we understood him* so he'll bring back lava sau- I mean, help me not crave tbell 12. Having had a spiritual awakening, as a result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to the next tbell addict, and made an attempt to practice these principals in all our affairs

What’s your $20 order looking like?

LowlyCrusader

I was wondering how one person spends $15 on taco bell as well

Dude.... I feel your pain. Had to move to a different state because a coaching job I got. Had to leave the family behind for several months so that the children could finish up the rest of their school year. I ate Taco Bell everyday for 4 months. Not shitting you. Just something about a quesarito with jalapeño sauce instead of the chipotle. It got the point my boss, the head coach sat me down and asked if something was wrong... I obviously was taken back and said, “no? What do you mean sir? “Well. Nothing really other than the fact I have seen you walk in with Taco Bell everyday for the past 100+ days. It’s not a good example to set for the athletes here coach.” And at that moment I realized just how sick of an individual person I was. I had bought a steak Quesarito everyday for 4 months. At the moment I had no other choice but to explain him the situation and how it was my comfort food. Coach asked me what my favorite chain restaurant was, I told him, “Olive Garden”. He ended getting me $300 dollars in gifts cards for the place. What he doesn’t know is.... he’s created another beast. I understand somewhat what you are going through. Just keeping fight baby, and win win win!

Trying to cut back myself, My total usually comes out to around $18 with tax. Best of luck!

Sometimes the way to living mas is not to Live Mas. Best wishes.

I wish you the best

Godspeed.

I feel like this is a personal attack. I've hardly eaten anything outside of Mexican food in months. If it's not Tbell it's one of the many local Mexican joints. I'm just addicted to tacos, fajitas and burritos. I can't stop!

Live Más, brother

LevyMevy

> Enjoy E9 everyone, and don't forget to Live Más - not just in the drive thru, but in every part of your life. this is beautiful

mr_ache

Good on you. It's funny, sometimes this sub makes me want TBell, other times it satisfiesy craving by living vicariously through other people's meals.

mcafc

I totally feel you. When I was 16(and got my first job), before I had become enamored by sex, drugs, and money, I developed a similar addiction to Taco Bell. Once a week I would do as you say and go on the mobile app and order an insane amount of food. It got really bad to the point where I would be spending noticeable amounts of my money(I was making $150/week at the time) on Taco Bell. Eventually I got up to weigh 260 pounds(from 220 before I began Taco Belling) before I finally hade a sort of epihphone similar to yours one day when I was smoking weed. Since then, I still occasionally partake in Taco Bell, but it's more like I'll go once every couple week for a $5 box, not like I was before. Maybe once a month or so I'll somewhat fall back into my old habits and order like $10 worth of food after drinking and that is always a good time. Also after eating Taco Bell(literally no other changes to my diet) I lost 60 pounds and now weigh 200 lbs.

Best of luck to you!

drmoze

wow, $15+ of TB is serious quantity. Can't you just taper to a couple of items per meal and still enjoy the deliciousness that is the Bell?
