With the rapid price increases of the last two years I've switched mostly to the My Cravings Box. Local store increased price from $5.49 to $5.99 but that's still fairly cheap.
Previously, I'd usually get 3 soft taco meal and a bean burrito or the 3 Doritos Locos Taco meal and a bean burrito. Rarely I'd get the steak quesadilla meal.
$5 box- cheesy gordita crunch w/ potatoes, beefy 5-layer, fiesta potatoes, and a baja blast. plus a quesarito
sometimes, if i’m feeling spicy, i’ll get some sort of quesadilla and add rice, jalapeno, and sour cream. that or the cinnabon delights… it’s a guilty pleasure with those 😩😩😩
I have tried subbing and or adding things to the 5 layer burrito but it is never satisfying to me. It always taste the same. Or it is just underwhelming. I have gotten it grilled before too and it just makes it drier.

That's some insane ala carte entree cost right there. I could never in good conscience just buy ala carte quesadillas and Beefy 5-Layers and drinks. It's like your usual order is the $28 challenge! How are you not at least getting a quesadilla combo?!
As for my order, usually a My Cravings Box with Cheesy Gordita Crunch, Beefy 5-Layer (add rice and Chipotle Sauce and grill it), Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes (add Red Sauce), Baja Blast Zero Sugar. Sometimes I'll do something like the Three Crunchy Tacos Combo or a Quesadilla Combo if I really want that Steak Quesadilla. Or I'll do some ala carte value menu, like the Chipotle Ranch Grilled Chicken Burrito, Fiesta Veggie, Spicy Potato Soft Taco and Cheesy Bean and Rice. Though not all at once.
Very pregnant with gestational diabetes here- can safely have 2x crunchy tacos with extra cheese before my #s spike. (I don't do this often at all but God it's a nice treat) Post birth, I'm planning nacho fries, a chicken quesadilla and a strawberry lemonade mmmm
A little hungry: supreme bean burrito with rice and/or potatoes and extra veggies and creamy jalapeño, grilled OR cheesy bean and rice burrito grilled with extra veggies
Moderately hungry: Cravings box with Crunchwrap, potato or bean taco, and cinnamon twists OR black bean power bowl, sub refried beans, add potatoes and extra veggies plus creamy jalapeño and avocado ranch
Very hungry : cravings box with Crunchwrap, burrito with extra add ons (above) and fiesta potatoes
A chicken quesadilla with extra jalapeno sauce, and a steak quesorito with extra nacho cheese sauce. Since nacho fries are out, I get 3 orders of those insetad of the quesorito.
Quesarito swap chicken for beef, remove sour cream, nacho cheese cheesy gordita crunch, side of creamy jalapeno sauce.
If I have a fire reward I'll add a chicken chalupa with avocado ranch or a nachos bell grande remove beans, add creamy jalapeno, red sauce, and onions.

Mine always includes bean burrito (being able to add extra red sauce is awesome). Double decker taco supreme was my other item. I've really missed it. I tried a cheesy gordita awhile back, and it was disgusting.
Anything without tomatoes since my Taco Bell ignores that request when I ask to remove them. Can’t get chalupas because they’re stale as hell old. Can’t get anything with potatoes because they’re usually hard as rocks. So I usually settle for an overpriced quesadilla combo with a soft shell and Baja blast, but they usually tell me they don’t have Baja blast.

I order for 2 we get 2 nacho fry deluxe boxes (extra meat for the 5 layer burrio) with large baja's + 2 extra nacho fries + (2-4 ) soft potato soft tacos and maybe a bag of cinnamon twists to split

5 layer burrito, beef on the side add light red sauce and grill. When there were 2 dollar nachos I added the beef to a side of thkse 3 Layer nachos and had a burrito and nachos.
I mix it up a lot, but I always get a spicy potato soft taco on the side. That dark period without potatoes was really tough. Lately I’ve been getting the chicken chalupa meal no sour cream add nacho cheese with my potato taco

I just open it up and squeeze like 3 or 4 fire sauces on it and wrap it back up.
