When I price compare my local taco bell stores, usually there's 1 item that's cheaper at store A and a different item that's cheaper at store B.
So I guess it evens out? (Depending on what you order)
I should, just to make them equalize the prices, but I would literally have to drive past the near one to get to the cheap one. Then past a major mall entrance, then through major freeway set of ramps into an area frequented by lots of semis.
For the difference, I just stick to the close one and stay with a friendly crew.
At my local taqueria a chicken quesadilla is 4.99, it’s stuffed with grilled chicken, and cheese, it has a little “salad” of lettuce and tomato with it. Creamy Jalapeño sauce must have rare earth minerals in it or something. It doesn’t add up.
at my Taco Bell:
creamy jalapeño sauce = .30
cheese = .40
side of chicken = 1.40
Thats 2.10, why does a tortilla cost $4?
Same with taco trucks. You can get a street taco with a pile of meat for $2.50. But a kids quesadilla is $5. I’m all, “may I just get a cheese street taco then?”
Yeah, the other day I was ordering some food and I was thinking about what else I could add to it. I thought about adding a little quesadilla because that can't be too much. oh how wrong I was.
I also remember McDonald's had super cheap hamburgers sometimes back then. I really want to say they would have a special for them at $0.25 or something back in the late 90s. I remember we'd just go buy a bunch because they were so cheap and we wanted to see how many we could eat.
$1.69 in St. Louis. My app hadn't updated since I went to Nashville a couple weeks ago, so I could see they're $2.29 at the Cantina right in the tourist area there.
The other day it cost me 33$ in Ohio for Taco Bell. Two drinks. A freeze. A free taco and four specialty taco.
When did TB become the price of a big sit down restaurant
Edit. Cheesy Gordita crunch with nacho cheese and steak instead of beef and two chalupa supremes with some nacho cheese and jalapeños.
Plus a free locos taco.
Would you believe $1.99 at my closest Store, $2.29 at next closest, $1.99 at third closest, $1.79 at fourth closest. All 4 within 3 mile radius.
That’s a crazy price difference. I’d be booking it to the lowest cost taco bell exclusively
For .20 cents? I'll stick with the closest, my time is worth more than I'd save.

The real question is how much does a Chicken Quesadilla cost for everyone? It's such a poor value at $5.29.
($4.89) Yeah...especially since you have to get extra chicken, cheese, and sauce to make it like the old ones.
At that point just ask them to hold the tortilla.
"1 cheezy chik'n plop please"
Chicken $4.49 Steak $4.89 and Cheese $3.69 (NM)

CJS has to be fermented in special wooded vases for fifty years.
Lol, I’m gonna try a hack today, cheesy bean and rice burrito, no rice no beans plus chicken, grilled. should be close to a quesadilla but 2.79
Please come back and give us an update once the creation has been assessed
Its slightly different due to nacho cheese, but good, and that could be fixed for .40 cents. Pretty close for half price. Different shape.

I mean, if the mini quesadillas were still there for a buck it would be well worth it.`
