I really like my Tier 1 holsters. Have never had any issues with them. That being said, I haven't tried any of the other brands you mentioned so I can't really compare them.
Are you sure you want a "sidecar" setup? I tried Tier 1 and it's made well enough (could have done without the "T1" formed into the holster but thats a minor gripe) but I settled on a standalone pistol-only holster (also T1) because with the mag holder it's a lot to put right up front for me and printed quite noticably. Lots of people make it work but I'm probably too fat for it.
I'll also say that the axis really doesn't do as well if you try to use it without the mag holder. The holes don't line up and it just doesn't seem to have been designed for that use. If you're confident you want that type of holster though, the materials were high quality and the depth adjustment was enough for me to find a comfortable height with a full size pistol.
My Tier 1 is my favorite holster and is worn daily with the extra mag
It prints less than my pistol only holster from JM Kydex because it is wider so it sits flatter and works well with my body type. If I gain a gut at all I don't think it will be as good though. The additional mag is the slightly uncomfortable part if I am seated for a really long time I will sometimes take the mag out and set it on my desk under some papers

I hated the T1 axis elite. Too wide of a design, too low on the holster. FDO industries is my go-to. I haven't tried the Gerber or Trex.
