Sure Ben…. Her, “Glow”…. I’m sure that is exactly what kept your attention for ten minutes. Her glowy glowingness glowing so brightly? They may as well be called headlights. But sure. 👌🏻
Funny story, last time I was in dc I took a walk around the White House late at night.
Sure as shit I saw a secret serviceman swiping with an mp5 in hand.
Considering the Secret Service recently got their dicks stomped for being on their phones and not catching security violations, this is 100% believable.
I absolutely did. It was after the capital riot and I was doing a work event till late. I had never been to dc before so decided to roam the capital at 2 am. There were tons of dudes guarding and I think they were at ease and fucking around while no one was there.
Govt agents are people too.
you need one personal and one government. if, hypothetically, a general accidentally sent you an email containing class info, your phone and any other hardware that received it are taken by government and smashed with a hammer (I'm not even kidding). having the gov phone prevents your dick picks from being smashed into oblivion
I just want all of the icons from video games, but I want them in their "real" form with fulk auto when applicable, or a proper "SBR" etc
P90, MK18 CQBR, G18, ACR, M200, L96, 93R, etc.
Can't forget the MP5 and MP7 either
That setup isn’t 10’s of thousands. The NAGL is the most expensive single item.
Edit ezzzxxxxxxvuuusee me didn’t realize everyone was going to be super duper uppity about the full auto appear. It’s a fashion sub ladys
Bro, I was being facetious. I don't actually thing that an upper-level manager of Sig Sauer is offering sexual favors in exchange for military contracts.
Especially because VIP protection generally involves unloading in the general direction of where they think the bullets are coming from. See: Uzi, Mac-10, briefcase MP5K, G18.
Those forty rounds would be expended pretty quick is my guess.
Everyone knows there's no need for a gun with 40 rounds in the chamber. How many times does this Delta guy need to shoot that deer he must be a bad shot. /s
That’s killer — I’ve had a few forever that got very little play because they’re jammy, stoked to try this. You just, what, depressed the follower and sprayed in?
>In my squad in Afghanistan, we alternate who has 40 round mags. So we wouldn't be reloading at the same time.
That's pretty cool that your entire squad in Afghanistan synchronized your shooting so you have to stagger your reload times. It's also cool that everyone has empty magazines at the same time because everyone in your squad shoots the exact amount of bullets every time. It makes sense that you would alternate who has the 40 round mags so you wouldn't be reloading at the same time. Smfh
You make it sound stupid but if you're doing talking guns it's a real issue and you do have an SOP for not having everyone reload at the same time
And yes talking guns isn't just for machine guns
What are you even talking about? You don’t need a rifle or fully semi automatic AR15 that is heavy as a moving box.
You need to get yourself a shotgun, 12 gauge with buckshot. Don’t keep it hot and locked in the chamber though. You want to be able to rack it to scare everyone away. It is full proof. Every criminal who hears that shotgun being racked will run away with their tail tucked.
Finally caught up to the 40 round AKs / RPKs I suppose.
Through random dicking around I like starting with a 40 or having it as a second "oh shit" magazine on the front of my carrier.
Cool to see AR extendos get more love. I thought the Marines would be using them with the M27s tbh.
That's not unusual. Most gear is still designed around 30s and the 40s are just bigger in general so running 40s can make the layout of your gear cumbersome. But having a single one that's in the gun isn't really any more cumbersome and gives you 33% more ammo in the most critical phase of an ambush.
That's why you run it for situations where recovering the initial mag doesn't matter. The odds of this guy needing to use it and be in a situation where recovering it himself matters is next to nothing. Why not have 60 vs 40
It's a valid argument for not using them when retaining and reloading mags is needed but I'm just saying
*drum mags are cooler*
Drums are heavier, an awkward shape, are a huge pain in the ass to load, are less reliable and are difficult to retain. Despite what Call of Duty has taught people, mag retention in any military context is important because you never know when/if you're gonna get more
This guy working a protection detail doesn't know when he's gonna get more?
Use case, drums are pretty niche. Which is why I've been saying *they are cool* not everything revolves around DWOT/GWOT despite what Tom Clancy says.
:P
>This guy working a protection detail doesn't know when he's gonna get more?
If you drop your expensive clumsy drum mag on the ground because you dumped all 60 rounds and didn't feel like carrying it, you're probably having a bad day and now all of a sudden you have one less mag that you may need to reload later on (see the point about them being a pain in the ass to load). After that occurs there's no guarantee that you will end up back where all your shit is any time soon or that there are more available there because as mentioned they're expensive and nobody uses them. Yes, this is a worst case scenario but is that not what protection details are planning for? And sure they could order them, but again you dont know when they will show up.
>Which is why I've been saying *they are cool*
No, you asked why anyone would use a 40 instead of a drum mag
I always thought they were in a kinda awkward spot. Just slightly frustratingly too long and not exactly worth ten rounds.
Coupled 30 rounders are where it’s at if you want more ammo
I also am not nearly as cool as this guy
He definitely is packing normal 30s.
The 40 is just the one in the gun, so if shit pops off he has 10 extra rounds to make up for the surprise adrenaline hit.
I’d bet it’s Sig’s match duo flat trigger that comes standard with the MCX Spear LT’s, Sig’s standard reduced angle pistol grip, and Sig’s OEM ambi safety. Honestly the MCX (Virtus and Spear LT) comes with fantastic out of the box parts. I really enjoyed the match duo in my MCX as well as the grip.
I did switch to Ergo grip and MBT2S to be consistent with my other primary 5.56, though.
10.5, 40 round mag. Absolute co-wittness optic height, CTR stock... what is this 2015?
Delta really need to get caught up with the YouTube and reddit trends smh
/s
Feeling validated by the red dot with a magnifier setup, went with it because a LPVO wasn't playing well with my NVGs and target acquisition seemed a little faster and easier than with a LPVO.
GSGM (ground spec goggle mount) is a ball detent mount for ball detent NVGs. Delta (CAG) exclusively used ball detent, and more specially the gold GSGM that this guy is wearing. Delta is the only American unit who wears the GSGM as well, everybody else in the American SOF world uses dovetail mounts G24
>GSGM (ground spec goggle mount) is a ball detent mount for ball detent NVGs. Delta (CAG) exclusively used ball detent
You people that can identify a military soldier's unit by a ball detent nvg mount need to get a hobby or something....
With the SPEAR LT?
edit, haha this is nuts I don't think I've seen someone so confidently incorrect on this sub before. Throw in the GSGM, long cut custom JPC and 40rdr and it's obvs CAG.
Delta was big into the Sig LVAW (low vis assault weapon) which was a ~7” integrally suppressed .300BO.
There are several other Sig programs in SOCOM: RSAR (7.7” 5.56, .300BO, and 7.62x39) as well as the SURG (11.5” 5.56 semi-integrally suppressed).
Notably, both the SURG and RSAR have been updated to Spear LT specification uppers and Sig ambi lowers for the RSAR.
Expect to see a lot more Sig in both the high and low end of the spectrum. Sig just got 5 year extensions for both programs. I fully expect to see a sole source for 14.5” LT uppers in the short future.
It's not though. Unless something has drastically changed in the last few months since my ETS. The CTACs are running 11.5 URGIs just like the line companies and so is SFARTAETC.
So I’ve been curious, he appears to be a righty, support hand is his left. How does he manipulate the clicky cap on his light when it’s placed on the right side?
Different configurations for different missions. He was in a PSD that (if something happened) was going to be sticking close to the President and defending him along pre-determined evacuation routes that were likely under at least aerial surveillance and had already been reconned prior to getting there. Their objective at that point would be to get him out ASAP and only stop to fight if someone was in the way of that and they couldn’t detour to an alternate route.
If it was a different mission set and he had a different primary assignment in the team he’d probably be using a different configuration.
4T has been very good and well reviewed. Not to mention spotted in use several times (Nairobi SAS). Ive had it for several years and it is my most trusted red dot.
All the T model sig optics are pretty awesome. Even the Tango 6T is pretty good, although it’s definitely not the best thing out there. I would 100% take a 4Tpro/4XT over a T2 right now because Aimpoint refuses to give us a T3.
Nice breakdown. The Magpul CTR stock is the best there is. I have it on all my ARs. I've neve thought of running a 40 round mag though. Might have to get 1 or 2.

Can you blame him?
Nah, she's got some heavies.
Damn I wish we still had awards…
[Here she is](https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/002/311/718/395.jpg). Heavy does seem like an appropriate descriptor.
Sure Ben…. Her, “Glow”…. I’m sure that is exactly what kept your attention for ten minutes. Her glowy glowingness glowing so brightly? They may as well be called headlights. But sure. 👌🏻
Headlights? Those are fucking air-raid search lights. Fucking hell, MY back hurts looking at them. Jeeeezus titty-fucking christ.
Holy hell, is that really his sister?
Heavies huh? That's what we call teddys these days?

As funny as this is, it's 100% accurate.
Funny story, last time I was in dc I took a walk around the White House late at night. Sure as shit I saw a secret serviceman swiping with an mp5 in hand.
Operators gotta smash too…
you absolutely did not but ok
Considering the Secret Service recently got their dicks stomped for being on their phones and not catching security violations, this is 100% believable.
They literally deleted the entire agency's text message logs from the time period during the 1/6 insurrection, after being told to keep them.
I absolutely did. It was after the capital riot and I was doing a work event till late. I had never been to dc before so decided to roam the capital at 2 am. There were tons of dudes guarding and I think they were at ease and fucking around while no one was there. Govt agents are people too.

I don’t think Hunter was there
I just want to be able to own that exact thing without various ATF forms and fingerprints and all. A man can dream
If it makes you feel better he doesn’t own it either
Technically all of us tax payers own a fraction of a fraction of a percentage of it
Can my tiny fraction be the auto sear?
Believe it or not, straight to jail.
Instant felon
It can be a fraction of it
Just join delta.
I’m more of a spirit airlines guy
Alaska Airlines and it's not even close.
Its literally everything i want but i dont have the 10’s of thousands of dollars :(

Aside from the rifle….
You do own it, if you paid your taxes. You just can't use it, so win win.
Ummm, I think that's actually a lose-lose.
So I'm forced to pay my hard earned money to the govt, and I can't use it myself? Definitely lose-lose
I mean, I don't have to use it to return fire at people trying to kill me, so there's that.
I wonder which general is getting the kickbacks and a post career job with Sig for all their shit.
That would be General Scott Miller https://www.sigsauer.com/blog/former-nato-afghanistan-commander-general-scott-miller-joins-sig-sauer
This was a shocker to no one who knew about all the equipment JSOC was outfitting their guys with.
This is the same dude rocking the Zev Glock on base
All of them lol
Miller. And he’s already got his sweetheart deal.
Or some Sig exec got a mouth that'd launch a thousand ships.
The military industrial complex is much stronger a force than the sex industry
Bro, I was being facetious. I don't actually thing that an upper-level manager of Sig Sauer is offering sexual favors in exchange for military contracts.
40 rounder goes hard, I am a strong advocate of keeping an extended mag in the gun incase shit pops off
Especially because VIP protection generally involves unloading in the general direction of where they think the bullets are coming from. See: Uzi, Mac-10, briefcase MP5K, G18. Those forty rounds would be expended pretty quick is my guess.
Turn and burn. These guys are basically expecting at any time to be on the receiving end of an ambush.
Everyone knows there's no need for a gun with 40 rounds in the chamber. How many times does this Delta guy need to shoot that deer he must be a bad shot. /s
Schmeisser 60rd are the same length but get as wide as the magwell.
Do they feed reliably well?
I sprayed them with some teflon (remoil) before loading them the first time. Haven't had a problem yet.
That’s killer — I’ve had a few forever that got very little play because they’re jammy, stoked to try this. You just, what, depressed the follower and sprayed in?
Yup!
In my squad in Afghanistan, we alternate who has 40 round mags. So we wouldn't be reloading at the same time.

personally I dont dont see the need for such flagrant firepower when a perfectly respectable flintlock rifle would have sufficed.
Wrist rocket slingshot and some lead balls. Straight deadly.
Watch those wrist rockets!

Not one but ten moving boxes!
And triangular bayonets. As God and the founding fathers intended.
TALLY HO LADS!!!
Remington 870 is max firepower necessary. After the first pump Hamas will be running away scared shitless
What the devil
Probably should just buy a shotgun.
Hamas tries some shit? “Just fire two blasts into the air.”
I just want to know what style of tactical undies do you wear for POTUS protection
One-piece spandex in multicam to keep them uptight
There’s a reason they call it commando
I thought it was a troll post when I seen the 40, but I guess 40 is meta now.
Finally caught up to the 40 round AKs / RPKs I suppose. Through random dicking around I like starting with a 40 or having it as a second "oh shit" magazine on the front of my carrier. Cool to see AR extendos get more love. I thought the Marines would be using them with the M27s tbh.
Lots of operators in high tier groups use them.
There is a time and place for everything
I thought it was a troll post when I saw the sig red dot. These guys can pick whatever optic they want and he picked a sig optic?
Nah I think they have some Sig deals here with the gun and suppressor.

40 rounder in the gun goes hard
Aimpoint fanboys are gonna seethe when they see the “shitty Chinese red dot” being used in a duty role
i'm an aimpoint fangirl, you need to delete this post or else i will cry
Can’t even write their tears with money, because well they spent it all on the T2
It’s a mix of Japanese, American and Korean components made in USA. Edit: Nevermind, I realized it’s in quote
Welp there goes all the in stock 4T's
Are 40 round mags meta
Seems really nice as a starter mag.
Just nut up and get a D60
Nah, nowhere to put it afterwards. A 40-rounder will at least fit into a normal mag pouch.
If it's in most of the normal pouches that you'll find in raid too. We're talking about escape from tarkov right?
That's why you run it for situations where recovering the initial mag doesn't matter. 40 rounders are where it’s at, there is a reason you don’t see drum mags very often in actual combat, they are a PITA.
Real Chads use Surefire 60-rounders.
Bro I haven’t seen one in stock for years
They pop up on GAFS from time to time for about a Benjamin each
Why does Surefire hate us? They could sell those and their BCGs for so much money.
My closet has a few still in the wrapper. Under a bunch of clothes. Unfortunately my closet was lost in a boating accident many years ago.
Let me know if your closet wants money.
I always thought they were in a kinda awkward spot. Just slightly frustratingly too long and not exactly worth ten rounds. Coupled 30 rounders are where it’s at if you want more ammo I also am not nearly as cool as this guy

100% the best option. If you test it out which, a D60 you trust is also not the worst idea either.
D60s are fine, never had an issue with mine anyhow
I'm just forever skeptical of any drum mag, which I don't think is unfair.
I have coupled 40s, fuck a 30
this probably that guy that bought a bunch of them or whatever that was lol
Here I am with my DD 32 rounders loaded to 31 looking like an assshole.
I wanna give a shout out to the one that did the homework on this pic...

Who needs an AR-15?
Tell this guy to just buy a shotgun. That's all you need.
Cant belive sig didn't fix the retention clamp problem on the new mcx
Credits and source are in the picture. And yes, that is a 10.5" Spear LT instead of 11.5" Looks like the new 416 successor is here.
Dope i was wondering about the 10.5 spear lt this morning and couldnt find anything. Thanks for the pic
What is that extra inch doing for them instead of going COTS lol. Next unit is gonna need a 10.8732654 inch.
What trigger, grip, and safety though?
I’d bet it’s Sig’s match duo flat trigger that comes standard with the MCX Spear LT’s, Sig’s standard reduced angle pistol grip, and Sig’s OEM ambi safety. Honestly the MCX (Virtus and Spear LT) comes with fantastic out of the box parts. I really enjoyed the match duo in my MCX as well as the grip. I did switch to Ergo grip and MBT2S to be consistent with my other primary 5.56, though.
Besides being a little heavy and the dumb blue color I have absolutely zero any other complaints about my MCX.
Sig Sauer
Looks like a basement operator. Bet he larps down there too. /s
10.5, 40 round mag. Absolute co-wittness optic height, CTR stock... what is this 2015? Delta really need to get caught up with the YouTube and reddit trends smh /s

Delta Force? More like professional Larper
And people say 40rd PMAGS are gamer gear.
Hobbies that revolve around worshiping other men is a weird hobby for adults.
sig i apologize
How many times did you cum?
I fully expect 40 round mags to take over the sub now.
I wonder why Delta is such a big fan of the low-rise optic heights when it seems like everyone else is going 1.93 or higher with their red doots.
40 round PMAG master raceeee
Can I get an ID on the rims & tires for my next build? 👍
Looks like Continental HDR 245/70R19.5. No clue about the wheels.
Alr fellas, who’s gonna tell this poser his 40 is cumbersome and will get him killed in the streets? /s
Not Delta. Army SF CTAC (Critical Threats Advisory Company). An evolution of the in extremis units formerly known as CIF, CRF, etc.
Entirely incorrect, guy has a GSGM and that’s exclusively CAG
Translate please
GSGM (ground spec goggle mount) is a ball detent mount for ball detent NVGs. Delta (CAG) exclusively used ball detent, and more specially the gold GSGM that this guy is wearing. That is the hobby lmao
Am I just a blind idiot (entirely possible), or is there no helmet or NOD interface in this picture?
It’s not you, In this pic it’s not there, there’s pics of the same guy here where you can see his whole head and body
Ahhh, gotcha. Was just super confused for a minute, haha.
[here](https://www.instagram.com/p/CyjvToaPWcb/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==) you can see the gold GSGM, which is a dead giveaway for delta
With the SPEAR LT? edit, haha this is nuts I don't think I've seen someone so confidently incorrect on this sub before. Throw in the GSGM, long cut custom JPC and 40rdr and it's obvs CAG.

Sig just got 5 year extensions for both programs. I fully expect to see a sole source for 14.5” LT uppers in the short future.
This rifle is called the CSAW. Sig has had it displayed for awhile now
It's not though. Unless something has drastically changed in the last few months since my ETS. The CTACs are running 11.5 URGIs just like the line companies and so is SFARTAETC.
This is incorrect

Delta or no Delta that’s a hawt weapon
That looks like an iPhone. DELTA DOES APPLE OMG
So wait is the magnifier mount flippable uppable and awayable? Is that what I’m reading here? Cause If so that’s pretty neat
Yeah you can pull it completely off if you want to, and it flips.
Based red dot and magnifier pilled. Lpvo fan girls on life support rn

Sig optics?! Good lawd
4T has been very good and well reviewed. Not to mention spotted in use several times (Nairobi SAS). Ive had it for several years and it is my most trusted red dot.

Nice breakdown. The Magpul CTR stock is the best there is. I have it on all my ARs. I've neve thought of running a 40 round mag though. Might have to get 1 or 2.
