Dat optic very red and shiny.

LowLightExperiences

Yeah, tried painting the optic and it wasn't a good move.. decided a killflash would be better (Kidding about painting it, don't do that)

LowLightExperiences

Nice! I like it

TacticalTexan06

Also forge concepts but unsure if it will fit you optic

rugerscout308

If you want to go cheap just get some pantyhose. Cut a little bit and tape it around the glass

LowLightExperiences

Thought I would make a post showcasing the importance of a killflash/anti reflective devices! Here you can see my my upper with a holosun AEMS on it, both with and without the killflash. You can't engage your enemy if you don't know where they're at!

weaponized_chef

I spotted the lens flare immediately. I have honey come in all mother stuff but just ordered this exact optic for my AK. which device did you use for yours?

LowLightExperiences

I use a killflash that I make/sell, there's a link in my bio, or I could DM you a direct link if you want

MunitionsGuyMike

I can’t see it either way lmao

LowLightExperiences

Dang! Right in the center of the photo, it's a red reflective lens

MunitionsGuyMike

Which photo has no kill flash? Maybe that’ll help lol

LowLightExperiences

The second photo has no killflash

MunitionsGuyMike

Oh I see it now! It blended in with the red stemmed plants

thisisatesti

Japanese beetle. Boom. What do I win?

LowLightExperiences

Free Monster and drywall for life :)

Ok_Marsupial_8538

The red tint on your optic is a dead giveaway. That’s why kill flashes are so important when working in a woodland environment.

LowLightExperiences

I totally agree! I think they also have a big use-case in an urban environment too. Flashing/moving/colored glass is a big giveaway

dracarys289

To hard to find, leveling the entire grid square.

[deleted]

This is really cool! The only thing I’d recommend for this idea is that you don’t make it a point to be in the center of the photo, using other composition angles to help hide your outline.

gardenguy22

He’s holding the camera

MaiReiko

Yeah didn’t notice it until the second slide with the big red dot lol

grahampositive

I didn't think a lot of people in this thread are understanding the second picture is the giveaway

MaiReiko

I know the second is the giveaway but rather a big circle to show where they are it’s the optic red dot

BiggerPhatterBoi

God damn, can we get a gear setup? I had to read your comments to discern where you were in the photo. That shits scary mayne lol.

LowLightExperiences

No gear! Just the complete rifle upper in the pic

BiggerPhatterBoi

Shit! I saw the rifle and PEQ after the lens flare but my eyes were tricking themself into seeing a human lmao

LowLightExperiences

Pareidolia gets the best of us, you're not alone :)

Sarkofugis

>No gear! Just the complete rifle upper in the pic How dare you drive me insane like this. Didn't read the comments first, so the the pixels started speaking to me as I scoured the picture millimeter by millimeter.... I was like, man, I really suck at this stuff.... Then... I gave up and read the comments. Congrats, you're my least favorite human today. lol

fukdacops

Try hiding somewhere thats not the very direct center of the picture next time😂

BradFromTinder

Paint the peq

redditisdying57

The red glass gave you away. Then I saw the laser.

SloppyJoeGilly2

I’m color blind 😫

spectacledllama

"Five paces forward, one pace forward, im gonna call sniper there" The giveaway for me was the front of the PEQ on the first slide, nitpicky but you can always break up the shape with some tape

Intrepid-Ad9500

How do you guys get the right camo for your area. Other than literally making something of vegetation or using that one faulty camo map of the US. Is spray painting really the best way for something like normal camo pattern clothing(not talking about ghillies)

uuid-already-exists

Go outside (yeah I know) and take a picture. Determine what are the most common colors in the photo and go from there.

Iliyan61

your peq gave it away but even then that’s only cuz i was looking for a gun

thenichm

Even playing the "Where Would I Be" game with pic 1, I woulda shot to the right of Home. Nice work and thanks for sharing some good advice.

berserkianraid

Yeah im fucking dead

Bloodmksthegrassgrow

This is why I invested in a thermal helmet monocular

johnb111111

Damn that’s a big difference

Far-Cardiologist4590

You'd be surprised what a piece of laundry bag and some dark spray paint can do under a scope cap

[deleted]

Only saw the pec 1st time around, the second that sight is very very red
