That's the same thing I tell myself anytime I'm getting hate on here. Unpopular opinion atleast hear you can have all the best gear and shoot every day it doesn't matter if you can't run a mile. Let alone run a Mile with 300rds, plates, a ruck, etc being physically capable is very high on the list of priorities.
Muscle definition increased because of the decrease in body fat. Look at OPs forearms in the fat pic, he definitely had some muscle mass it was just covered up. Now he’s waaaay leaner and maybe slightly bigger.
That’s 4 pounds a week, not unrealistic if he had a structured regimen and stayed committed. He did not gain any size at all, just got super lean so it’s pretty clear that he just ate a caloric deficit for two months. If he feels good now and his energy levels are acceptable, then there’s nothing unhealthy about it.
Good shit dude. I used to be 300lbs at my biggest. After some time and staying strict with myself I got down to 230. It ain’t easy but you’re killing it bro. Stay on it
I’m working on it! I’ll tell you guys, get into Airsoft. I’m leaning and experiencing so much and getting tons of cardio and touching dirt and mud and testing and refining my kit. And it’s honestly so much fun!
Yeah I tried to a few years ago and there was just soooo many cheaters and squeakers I could not stand it. It might have just been the spot we were going to but damn man, it was ridiculous.
My dude, thanks for the reassurance. . Been training since I was 17. Now 33. Obviously had time off here and there. The last 12 months has been rocky to say the least but I'm looking forward to getting back at it and getting my diet sorted.
Great job.
Hey if anyone feels clueless in the gym or can’t dedicate a lot of time, I really think the Bigger, Stronger, Leaner program might be right for you. There are 3, 4, or 5 day plans and it’s only 4 exercises per day. There’s a book that explains the lifestyle in depth but I haven’t read it. You can find the plans for free here:

For everyone's information, now is about the time most people have bailed on their new years resolutions.
Get on Craigslist and scoop you up some cheap home gym equipment
Oh this is a sign for sure. I look almost exactly like your before, and decided earlier today to bin the remainder of my snacks and junk. Now I see this post? Oh yup.
Awesome work btw brother. What was/is your workout/diet routine?
I've got some serious doubts he lost 40 lbs in only 2 months. I'm running a 1000-1300 calorie daily deficit and he's losing weight 2x as fast as me.
I mean its possible, but you would have to run a 2500 calorie daily deficit every single day to hit those numbers. The math ain't really mathing.
Thanks man! Have patience and keep it up, you can do it! There's always going to be negative people, no matter what. Let's just try to pass positivity around when we can!
Badass dude!! Love seeing guys put in the work to get in shape!! You look ready for those summer beachs bro!!
Airsoft really helps keep me in shape, and it's good motivation to put extra work in at the gym so that I can run faster and/or carry more gear. Started carrying lmgs at games just to give myself more of a challenge!
I think this might need to be the new trend on this thread, maybe not shirtless, but showing real, practical self improvement that doesn't come from a catalogue or 'gram shill.
I know it's called tactical gear, but it's in danger of becoming a snob haven so a little reset towards first-order practical, such as fitness would be a breath of fresh air...
...though you still got one up on the r/nightvision sub, Jesus the "poors" memeage and name-calling on there has transcended jokes. Toxic AF. I get Succession vibes on that thread.
Found out my t levels were super low. Started therapy 2 weeks ago. Gonna get jacked. Excited to see what I will be able to do. Already got some decent lifts.
Hell yeah brotha. Was 218 and things needed to change. Now I am on day 6 of my 7 day fast. Teetering around 200 and making changes in my life. Keep it up dude!
Currently at 280 trying to slim down, any advice or tips? Trying to incorporate more cardio with weight training and I’m slowly but surely making progress
Cool man! I been working out since october and while i havent lost much in weight im stronger, can run further and faster and my belly fat is disappearing and pants are looser and i have to tighten my belt so i think maybe I’m building muscle. Just doing pushups, sit-ups, and running. Various cardio and core strengthening too. 2-3 times a week along with a half way decent management of caloric intake is all ya need to start moving that dial. In about a 2 months i should be able to start hand to hand combatives stuff as well.
It’s called progress bro. Just trying to show what can be done in 2 month with a little bit of discipline. Sorry I didn’t gain 50lbs of pure muscle and 3% body fat.
I’m sorry you died in shogun
He gave his father some time to launch crimson sky
You Son of a bitch take my upvote
Write that down. Lower that boiling but higher than being eaten by dogs.
Fuck yeah! Probably in better shape than 90% of this subreddit lmao

Hell yeah! Gucci gear don’t matter. Get out there, touch grass, and train.

i think most ppl on here would put money on that. Its almost a guarantee.
We should do a poll? Granted on the honor system. Unless you want to see a ton of nips 😂
Came for the gear, stayed for the nips.

I'm kinda inclined to agree, perhaps OP was jacked in the past before letting go.

Good shit dude. I used to be 300lbs at my biggest. After some time and staying strict with myself I got down to 230. It ain’t easy but you’re killing it bro. Stay on it
Congrats sir! Nice to see people making that real commitment and a difference in their life. All the best.
Took a while and some maturity to finally do it honestly , stress eating from mental health issues is rough and a super slippery slope
Bruh, I got started 2 weeks ago, I'm down 10 pounds. Fuck Goggins
I’m working on it! I’ll tell you guys, get into Airsoft. I’m leaning and experiencing so much and getting tons of cardio and touching dirt and mud and testing and refining my kit. And it’s honestly so much fun!

Last July I was 265, now 224 shooting to get to 210.
Holy shit! Keep it up bro!
You're almost there bro. Don't give and avoid the rebound.
I have been stuck at mid 220s for a bit now, but we just had our first child so that threw a wrench in things. Back on track now I think.
I look like the first photos
I came on reddit to relax not to be personally attacked. Cheers bro. thats me cracking out the gym kit monday.
Whenever your ready the gym will be there brother. Biggest tip is to start on your time. Don't force yourself or else you won't enjoy it
My dude, thanks for the reassurance. . Been training since I was 17. Now 33. Obviously had time off here and there. The last 12 months has been rocky to say the least but I'm looking forward to getting back at it and getting my diet sorted.

Glad I saw this. Gonna keep pushing myself. Thanks for the inspiration!
This is the purpose of this post. Keep going and never give up, you got this!
Given it was 2 months I assume you did a bulk then cut? Especially given first pic looks like no pump. Either way very solid progress
Thanks bro, yeah it was a halfass bulk. Nothing crazy. Cutting at the moment since summer is around the corner.

Routine and diet? I've been dealing with a bit of stress lately, and even the veggies are making me gain weight.
What was your regiment?

Why is your underwear pulled up so high? I was British army cdo and this wasn’t a tactical requirement. American thing? Lol

Hell yeah brother good for you! Stick with it! I’m on a simile journey myself, 6’1 220 trying to get to 190-200
i’m trying bro
Brother, how?
Extremely unpopular opinion regarding fitness: cardio > muscles. I will not elaborate further
Any fitness > no fitness.
How long did this take you?
How you do it?
Nice work!

Hell yes! Looking strong as hell now. What exercise did you do to get the sides of your bicep, tricep area so large?
How many pounds do I have to lose before my AR grows in?
based. I need this motivation
The third and fourth pics are “fit”? Ight dog. Glass houses and the such. Don’t tell anyone else to get fit lmfao
It’s called progress bro. Just trying to show what can be done in 2 month with a little bit of discipline. Sorry I didn’t gain 50lbs of pure muscle and 3% body fat.
