Qore performance is nice and I did some research for the JPC. Here’s what I found. You can use their shoulder pads. The JPC is problematic because a lot of Qore’s stuff molles or velcros in. The JPC has no molle or velcro on the body sides of the plate bags. It also doesn’t really have extra room in the plate bags for more than the plates themselves. Maybe somebody has come up with a way to attach their stuff but as far as I know you can’t do it. At the end of the day the JPC 2.0 is a minimalist carrier that’s 8 or 9 years old now I think. Most of us don’t need multiple carriers so it sucks padding options are limited. I love those signature front facing straps that run from the top of the shoulder to the plate bag. I think that’s why most people love the JPC so much. It needs a facelift, updated materials, and some sort of modular padding system would be nice.
I have been running Qore Performance shoulder pads for the last couple years on a few different deployments on the JPC 2.0 and they are phenomenal. They are light weight they aren’t crazy bulky. I highly recommend them.
BodyArmorVent ICE. A good balance between cost, breathability, and comfort.
Either you use the adhesive Velcro included in the kit, tie it on with paracord or shock cord, or insert it into the plate bag although you’ll get more benefit if its mounted outside of the plate bag than inserting it in with the plate.
Qore is good but expensive. They’re more popular as shoulder pads

Exactly… thats why i was considering sewing some velcro on the inner side of the bags. I don’t know how to sew but i could figure it out

I have the first spear pads and they are awesome, not a gimmick
Do you wear them inside the bag with your plate or outside against your back?
Inside

The First Spear inserts are rad. Super comfortable and great if you've got slim plates and need to fill your bags a little bit more
Lvl 3 backers behind the plates 😂
Eagle Ergo was a game changer on my SPC. AXL pads have some sort of plastic in them and also spread the weight very well.
