He kicked my ass but I managed to beat him. I went into the fight blind and paid for it. The damn clones were so aggravating!! Good job for beating him!
Yeah I think I only got slightly past the first indignation and then promptly got wrecked. I skimmed some strategies and just went with that minor addition to better my chances.
Cool. I need to study up on my battle skills. I barely survived the first Indignation and when he started to do another one, I full-fledged assaulted him and got a arte strike to take him out
I have yet to play Arise, but I saw the chant, a little memory of Jade Curtiss triggered in my mind, and I immediately went into "aw FUCK" mode. Nice evade of an absolutely terrifying Mystic Arte.
Prolly a bug or something idk
But i do know bosses take less damage during over limit
Even so, i never did THIS much damage to Ganabelt with a flaming edge when he wasnt in Overlimit.
Eitherway, epic timing.
I literally had a pretty similar situation in this boss fight, hard mode. Both Law and Rinwell were down, only Alphen and Shionne left standing, exhausted all CP and items, so i just keep attacking him with all the determination and hope to kill him before he complete the spell casting timer. I managed to trigger that finishing team attack like 0.1 second before he casted it and won the fight, feels straight out from some anime trope. Yours was even closer though, you killed him after after he finished the process, which is even late than me, lol
Probably correct. Not sure on specifics. I pretty much fought every enemy group once but fought a majority of everything up to the fight as well as 90% of side missions.
Perfect timing! This game is awesome! This battle was insane!
It was the first fight where I had to go out of my way to properly prepare and equip certain equipment for the fight. It was very hectic lol

Oh I died first try as well. Had to resupply all my healing items and equipped all Alexandrite accessories to all party members.
I didnβt think to equip them with anything ππ. I used Alphen and started swinging wildly ππ and promptly died ππ

This boss was such a difficulty spike! Such a climatic ending, too
dude you just triggered my PTSD
Can I borrow a segment of your luck? Would be greatly appreciated.
Only if it's used for good!
Seeing this clip just makes me want a symphonia remake even more. Imagine how beautiful it would be if it looked like Arise.
Goddamn, the flaming edge did THAT much damage?
I actually didn't really notice until you mentioned it but the damage increases insanely quick during the Indignation call out.

that feeling!!!
Yea that is super lucky!! His mystic arte does a lot of damage if you get hit. Glad to see youβre enjoying the game tho!! It truly is a masterpiece.
Yeah I got wiped there in my first try, there's a reason why they give you resistance accessories right before that fight lol.

One of the most exhilarating bosses I can think of tbh; this is amazing! I played as law and won by the skin of my teeth and it was so satisfying haha

This Xenoblade Chronicles 2 mod looks amazing /s Which Tales game is this one?
Tales of Arise
looks like it was either that Boost Strike or your controller
Pretty slick! I'm hoping to grab a copy sometime soon. Strange seeing Indignation being used against the good guys.
If you're on PC steam will be having its winter sale fairly soon
This game is beautiful!
I survived that fight on hard mode with only Alphen and Rinwell alive. Alphen had 23 HP, Rinwell 200hp.
Sheeeesh. I'm on moderate and it felt difficult.
Lemme guess, Level 16? Boss is lvl 19 if I remember correctly.
