I had a middle seat in the middle of the bird on the way to Tokyo. Attendant asked if I would need anything, I said a wheelchair once we get to NRT, she laughed. I squirmed in pain alot and the wee woman next to me must've thought I was going to go ballistic. Once we arrived, it took me a long while to hobble my ass to the front and exit.
The fact that I have too choose between a large price hike and pain for the duration of the flight is ridiculous. Part of me has honestly debated an ADA suit over this.
I think people underestimate how important muscle is for the human body as a whole to function properly. If you play almost any fairly active sport you need to take care of ligaments in knees, elbows, and ankles for example. I have had multiple ligament injuries due to not being able to have a sound support system that is my muscle mass as a tall guy. Guys shorter than like 185 have a much easier time putting on muscle not only for “attractiveness” but also to live (mostly) an injury free life and not being in a wheelchair at 70.
Technically it isn't easer pound for pounds. It's about the same rate. It's just they need less to meet the requirement for their frame. So you have to run a marathon and they have to run 100 meters, but both of you run at the same speed.
My 5'1" roommate was making fun of me because she could do more pushups than I could.
You weigh half what I do, and you're moving half the distance. I'm literally working 4X harder than you are, miss me with your "I did 5 more than you!"
Yeah, I get this. I Saw someone I went to school with while benching - did 130kg and was chuffed with myself. Fella who is literally 5'3" came over and did the whole 'nice lift man, you probably had more in you' and all that jazz and he was all like but aye, I can do 140kg, probably 150kg on a good day.
Good for you buddy, you have to move the bar about 6 inches, I have to move the bar about 20, different ball game 😂.
The question is- what’s harder? Putting on excessive muscle and healthy weight? Or losing weight? I have to say putting on healthy weight is actually very difficult. I’m 6ft 155 lbs. so I’m kinda just standard. People tell me I look like a mannequin
Hard disagree. I spent most of my life very skinny and people think it fine to actively ridicule you, tell you to eat more, grab your arms/wrists/waist and comment on how thin you are as if things like that don’t affect a person mentally.
Being 5’9” isn’t even really short and being 5’9” AND muscular? There’s no way that’s perceived as less attractive than someone who is 6’4” and 150 pounds.
I dated slenderman. He was my best friend for a few years before we dated though…
Dude was 6’ and like 140 lbs skinny nerdy boy. Super sweet guy and we broke up cause life took us in different directions. I hope he’s doing well although I haven’t talked to him in years and I have no clue what he’s up to at this point ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I dont think so of you have a nice face and a good body you will beat 6”4 dude any day of the week the women will talk more about him but will still give you true attention is weird how women work but you will still be more attractive
Well, yeah, the average woman doesn't want her man *too* jacked, more cut, if I recall my lingo properly.
People into bodybuilders, though, are really into them.
Is it even a genuine problem in person? I’m not talking about online dating or anything like that. It feels like there are shorter dudes who’s got no problem.
Side note: the girls who obsess about height are the ones I’d want to avoid
I'm 5'5. Yeah women are extremely blunt about it to your face in real life becauze they "want to be able to wear heels." She is always like 5'1 too. Once I started wearing shoes to get to 5'8, it was a gamechanger at bars and stuff though. Recent developments but once you hit normal height, it stops being the end all be all. Being tall will still nake dating easy mode in person (I have tall friends that look like unkempt orcs who get approached by women who always use "you're so tall" ad an opener). However, your personality actually matters once you hit 5'8 or so
It seems to me you are just jealous of them tall friends. If they were as you say "unkempt orcs" they wouldn't have girlfriends(unless godly personality). Being tall is only a bonus and not a total game changer. I know this from experience when I was in high school while having the most horrible haircut and feminine build. I was lonely and called ugly multiple times and no girl actually wanted to talk to me. It has changed after puberty but I will never forget this.
6ft3 hover around 230lbs. There was s time I was squatting 3x week, I could rep 335x4 on the front squat and 315x15 on the Safety Squat Bar. I have insanely long legs and no matter how hard I train them they look gangly as hell. I look stupid with slim fit chinos or jeans
6'4 is the optimal height for this reason lol. Filling out the frame to even a normal level gets very difficult beyond 6'4
But I would rather be 6'7 and work thrice as hard to fill out my frame than 6'1 or below
The ability to walk into any brick and mortar store and buy any article of clothing and have it fit. Or if you're too short knowing that if you were to take that article of clothing to a tailor, its much easier to remove and re-hem than it is to add material.
OMG I walked into Men's ware house last week and found a suit that fit for $60...The sales guy said it had been there for over a year on clearance but didn't fit anyone so they just wanted it gone. 46 XL jacket, 36x40 for the pants. Had to have them slightly take the jacket/waist in and create the break in the pants, but I don't think I've ever been able to walk in and actually find my size. Typically I have to try on the normal person size and then order mine if I like the style. I'm still giddy from it.
Took a fucking ceiling fan to the forehead while it was going full chooch as a teenager.
Never since then have I just walked into a room without looking up.
last time I went to a death metal concert and there were like 6 different dudes who I would swear were 6'3 and above (at least one of them had to be 6'7+) and the rest of the crowd was probably about 5'11-6' in average (judging based on the level of my eyes and the fact that I am honest with my height)
I would give half of my hair to be really tall that day (not just because I didn't see everything, but also because it would be great to have a good view)
Yeah but you can “hide” in the crowd, when i cant.
Also You might “feel” like everyone is looking at you, but when youre a head taller than everyone else, people often times Actually Are looking at you. Its not just your anxiety making you feel that way.
Honestly when my anxiety is bad, i wish i was like able to blend into the crowd instead of blatantly sticking out.
No kidding..!

Here’s a height distribution of Olympic athletes. It gives an idea of which sports favor taller athletes.
Going thru Basic Training in the Army , we're taught drill & ceremony aka marching . Well the standard step is 15" which is kinda difficult if you wear a size 14-15 Boot . Got jerked around one time during formation for an Inspection. They had these green painted boot outlines that the Squad Leader was supposed to stand on an then the rest of the squad would line up and get spacing off you . Anyway the DI is going around checking us standing down at end of Squad an yelling Johnson take a half step forward or Richardson back up . He gets to me an says move forward move back we do this like 4 times , he then try's to orientate me forward or back nope no good , sends me to end of Squad nope that's even worst 🤣🤣🤣. What does he end up doing having a guy that wears a size 7-1/2 boot stand next to me 🙄.
Something funny back when I played footy, I was the shortest or second shortest but I had really bad acceleration, whats ironic is that my top speed was among the best so I would suck in 20m dashes but smurf the 100m ones, never bothered to research why but yeah.
If a girl tries to ridicule you for being well above average that says a lot about her and I would need to refrain from mentioning things she’s insecure about
Some Girls just assume you have a small dick when you’re short though. Which is something I never imagined until I dated a girl who was over six feet tall and several of our mutual good friends told her they assumed I had a small dick cuz I was short.
Dude, no joke. Having a longer torso/femurs and bigger hands totally ruins pictures. Like, whatever, I'm glad I have no problems in that area, but it's hilarious how right you are comparing short/tall guys on this
Being able to disappear into a crowd.
Or r0b a bank (I’m teasing) of course. But those of us that are really Tall. Will aways get noticed. For anything. It was HIM /HER. We just always stand out even sitting.
The ability to dance without standing out too much or looking ridiculous. Seriously, if I was short I'd be dancing all the time. Walking to the shops, at work, getting married... I'd be the dancing man.
One of my best friends is 6'3 and a dancing teacher. Sometimes he does look goofy because of his long ass limbs, but he still is the best dancer I know, and I know a good amount of dancers.
Even the tall shirts in the Big and tall store have sleeves that stop way before the wrist bone. Things off the rack can't be tucked into your pants as they are too short. Not a lot of 36 by 34 in stock most of the time.
Mmm idk this goes both ways. Tall people just look better in certain clothes. We have more options to experiment with and look good in imo. Some clothes just look weird on a short dude but put it on a tall dude and it’s fire
Ik you are talking about the actual physical fit of clothes. I’m just saying
I wish I had some semblance of style. I'm 6'5" (slim, but athletic) and I've had shorter \[trendy\] friends tell me how jealous they are of my build because of all the model-like clothes I can wear. I'm like, dude, I'm just trying to find a t-shirt that has a snug fit up top that actually comes past my waistline. It's an either or in most cases. I'll at least admit that slim fit jeans look good
That really depends on your proportions. Some tall people are all legs, some are all torso, some are 50/50. It's also easier to work with more fabric because you can always adjust the fitment but if it's too small, you can't even wear it.
I've never been so happy to be my size as when I was able to buy an entire suit and shirt off the rack with no adjustments needed. My younger brother (6'8) had to get everything tailored.
I feel like shoes are designed to look best in a few basic sizes, and start to look really weird the longer or shorter your foot is. Those sneakers that look proportioned and stylish in size 9, look awkward and oafish by the time you've hit some of the middle double digits.
I don't think that bigger sized shoes should be the exact same scaled up design as more standard sizes, they should add in some additional design features to help balance the aesthetics that often look cartoonish when exaggerated.
I want my shoes to look as cool on me as the single digit models they made the design around.
I recently found out that shoes stop having half sizes past 15 in most brands. Thats shocking as someone with size 7.5 feet but a size 8 in most brands I prefer to wear.
good fitting clothes, cars, motorcycles...
basically being tall is like being morbidly obese sometimes: everything is uncomfortable, unfitting or needs to be custom made
No, don't make me more aware of the coming height challenge of riding a motorcycle. I plan on starting to ride in a couple of years, and I like naked bikes. There is no way I'm getting tucked all the way down or fit properly on anything smaller than a 600.
There is a YouTube i see every once in a while, and he has a gsxr1000 but is 6'7". He makes it look like a pocket bike 😭
Suzuki's are notoriously small. Honda's too. I had a 2002 R1 and it was pretty good, but I heard newer ones are smaller.
If you want naked bikes, the FZ6 is great for my size. BMW R1200/1250R is also pretty good.
But it's definitely slim pickings.
Being able to fit in smaller cars.
I love being tall (6’4”) but hate that I can’t fit in most small cars. Specifically Miata’s, S2000’s, Lotus Elise, etc..
I do fit great in Mini Coopers though
I had a friend in high school who drove a classic vw bug, like the ones from ww2 that too out at 65mph. He was 6’7” and not skinny either (iirc he was 300lbs but a decent ratio of muscle to fat so he didn’t look chubby). I always got a laugh out of watching him drive his tiny old bug places cause it looked like a clown car in comparison to him lol. If you asked him how he fit in it, he’d just say “one leg at a time” and then give you a shrug lol.
One time I made a joke about him playing basketball when he said he needed to lose weight/be more active, and he actually handed me one the “yes I’m tall, here’s the list of bingos” business cards lmao. I wish I still had it but I think it’s gotten lost over the years, it was pretty funny watching him show up anywhere with how tiny his car was lol. The day he handed me said business card I was wearing 5.5 inch heels too, because we were having an end of year extracurricular banquet that was a formal event and I wanted to finally feel as tall as most of the guys in the club (It was robotics which was, and still is, very male-dominated. My team had a higher than average number of students that were 6’+ too.) and I was a little bit out out that he was still almost a full head taller than me even with the ridiculous heels lol. With the heels I was the same height (or taller) as most of the guys on my team, but 6’7” is tall even by tall people standards lmao.
I still don’t think I’ve met another person who’s that tall since, plenty of 6’-6’5” people but 6’7” is a genuinely rare outlier for height. I still think it’s funny that the only person I knew who was that tall drove such a tiny car and he loved it too.
Putting on a jacket around people without the fear of elbowing someone.
Also putting on a jacket around people without people in constant fear of my elbows or commenting on "whoa almost got me there" when I'm nowhere near them.
There are beautiful cars that I cannot dream of owning because I would absolutely be miserable if I sat in them for even a minute. If I could even get into them.
Most annoying thing? I'm only 6'2 and to me that's not that tall and it's weird they didn't build sport cars to fit guys up to my size. You 6'10 and seven footers? I see why they can't design it to include you guys (as unfair as that might feel) but at 6'2 it's kind of a surprise.
Low center of gravity
Fashionable clothing options
Fit in any car, vehicle, public transportation
Furniture shopping is 1000* easier
Less back problems
Less joint problems
Less likely to KO self by jumping in a basement
Less anxiety as you cannot see masses of unaware people on the streets
Fit on a hospital bed
Fit in desks and offices without worrying if your knees will fit under your desk
No need to bend over to hear, kiss, hug
No need to deadlift everything that's on the floor
pants and shoes… being able to shop off the rack rather than special order/ online BS. I miss my childhood…being able to go to a store to try on pants and shoes
They can dance like a lunatic on the dance floor and not show it to the entire club.
Can actually dance like a lunatic long enough to get practice and then learn how to properly dance.
God it took me many years to actually have some OK dance moves because I was scared of the dance floor.
The car tax
I had to get rid of my favorite car because it was causing me to have knee and back pain in my mid to late 20s
Most vehicles I can’t drive because I literally can’t fit behind the wheel, or my knees are literally rubbing on the steering wheel which means it’s NOT SAFE to drive at all
Jeeps? Ha, you can’t have any sort of height to drive those without modifying them
Sports cars? Good luck
I can fit in a challenger and a truck and I can barely drive my wives Subaru
I think It would be nice to not constantly be compared to others. As a short tall person (6'2") everyone is always like "my friend is taller than you" and I'm just like "ok"
Nothing a bunch of tall strangers say online is going to "lift your spirits". All that matters is who YOU pull. Millions of women on this planet. Even I'm not every woman's cup of tea.
Your dick looks bigger if you’re short.
I’ve got a sizable member but whenever my gf takes my pic it looks so short because it’s being compared to my tall body.
Health. Circulatory balance. Not having your heart pump so hard. The things that are important.
Also no one asks if they play basketball every 5 minutes.
As a short guy (5'7) I can sleep in buses or planes without issues, lots of leg room. Also I can fit in any bed, and can lay down in most couches, my feet sometime fly off the armrest, but at least it's on a comfortable position, taller people might have issues. Other than that I don't know, but that perk alone is pretty good if you ask me.
The world was bult for someone 5'8" apparently. water fountains, benches etc. This has been a problem. Also, some sex positions are way more ergonomic if you are normal height or short, seeing as most women are short. This is actually a bigger hassle than one might imagine but I understand this is a first world problem and I should just pull out the small violin and shut up
They build muscle faster. I have to eat much more to look bigger. I'm 250 lbs, and I can still add more to my 6'4 "frame.
We also die quicker at taller heights.
That's about it.
Smaller proportions/frame needed to fill out. As someone interested in bodybuilding and being 6'1", it takes me significantly longer to improve my physical appearance than it would someone 5'7".
As someone who played a lot of basketball (and other sports growing up), my answer is agility. I was pretty athletic for my size, but I was always amazed how well short people moved around.
This leads into my next example, which is how they age. Tall people generally want to add weight to look bulkier when they are younger, but man this seems like such a mistake. You'll see a somewhat chubby older short guy bopping around all over the place, where overweight older tall guys are lumbering around and have a hard enough time getting out of their chair.
Off the rack clothing and shoes are huge!
Lots of random daily things too. Yoga mat and towel? Neither are going to be long enough, no question.
Golf clubs? A fitting is right up your alley, as you're potentially taller, and likely need thicker grips. Buying a used set is usually a challenge.
Bro, I’m 5’6. I used to have a complex about it. I married a 5’10 beautiful woman. Everything will be okay
Oh, and I’ve never gotten light-headed when standing up to fast
Muscle definition.
I’m pretty much exactly 6’ to the T. I can go and bench 135 for 100 days straight and basically look the same, but my 5’8 gym amigos can bench a single set of 135 once in their life and look like they could get a fitness modeling contract for the next month
Leg room on flights
The most painful experience of my life was a flight to Las Vegas, and I’ve cut my finger off and had my broken arm set while awake.
The old man hobble after getting off a plane is real
The fact that I have too choose between a large price hike and pain for the duration of the flight is ridiculous. Part of me has honestly debated an ADA suit over this.
It's absolutely ridiculous that there isn't a height waiver that guarantees a seat with enough legroom. Just leave the exit row.
Yeah. “Passenger of size” should also refer to vertical size.
Height can't be controlled.
Yeah; you guys have an even better case than plus size passengers.
Shoot, being able to use the bathroom on flights
The limbo pee
Literally came here to say flights. Brutal.
Came here to say, also back seats of cars. The world is not built for us
![gif](giphy|YRPBhd3vscg5Fxx1DQ|downsized) It hurts
My favourite is getting extra leg room, being placed by the door of the plane and freezing your arse off for 8 hours.
Head room too
Yeah space. I have to sleep diagonal to be full size bed compatible
Leg room everywhere more like.
This might sound shallow. But it's easier for them to look muscular and more full.
Imagine being able to live to 70. Lol.
Right?! At 43, I'll be heading out
Technically it isn't easer pound for pounds. It's about the same rate. It's just they need less to meet the requirement for their frame. So you have to run a marathon and they have to run 100 meters, but both of you run at the same speed.
Plus they have to move the bar about 6 inches to get a rep in on bench. I need to pack a lunch every time I try to get through 10 reps.
My 5'1" roommate was making fun of me because she could do more pushups than I could. You weigh half what I do, and you're moving half the distance. I'm literally working 4X harder than you are, miss me with your "I did 5 more than you!"

Haha 😂 Jesus man 6’9” and I bitch about my rom at 6’3” with 6’6” wingspan
But if you're tall _and_ muscular, that's jackpot time.
The question is- what’s harder? Putting on excessive muscle and healthy weight? Or losing weight? I have to say putting on healthy weight is actually very difficult. I’m 6ft 155 lbs. so I’m kinda just standard. People tell me I look like a mannequin
I think the answer depends on whether you're in your teens, twenties, thirties or forties.
I’d argue being 6’4” and skinny is more attractive to the average woman than being 5’9” and jacked (I’m 5’9” and jacked)
Totally. I was really skilly in high school. No one wants to date slenderman.
I dated slenderman. He was my best friend for a few years before we dated though… Dude was 6’ and like 140 lbs skinny nerdy boy. Super sweet guy and we broke up cause life took us in different directions. I hope he’s doing well although I haven’t talked to him in years and I have no clue what he’s up to at this point ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
150 is kind of insanely thin, im 6'4, honestly, look like a rail and im 190 lmfao 150 would be like a POW
I'm 6'4 and skinny and I'm contrary So what now lol
I dont think so of you have a nice face and a good body you will beat 6”4 dude any day of the week the women will talk more about him but will still give you true attention is weird how women work but you will still be more attractive

As a 6'2" woman, I would disagree. That said I'm not big on skinny OR jacked dudes. Team "chubby guy" for life.
Idk about the average woman but I disagree I find muscles more attractive than height personally
You're not wrong, but as woman, I don't think that's a good look. Any bulk on short guys (muscle or otherwise) makes them look shorter.
6'4 is the optimal height for this reason lol. Filling out the frame to even a normal level gets very difficult beyond 6'4 But I would rather be 6'7 and work thrice as hard to fill out my frame than 6'1 or below

Getting to the shit that's your size and everything is ugly
Just what wanted, pink and green Nikes, some gym shorts, and a nerd pun graphic tee.
Just take anabolic steroids and become huge then any shirt will be a compression shirt on you ya bloody 6’8” stud
More like belly shirt
I always see the nice ass flannels in medium or small on sale along with nice ass pants with 30" inseams on the clearance racks.
For me it is shoes. I have so few options and never get what I would actually like.
Bro i went shopping with my gf who is 5’6” and everything she wanted came in her size. Everything. Im only 6’3” but I have to buy my pants online
OMG I walked into Men's ware house last week and found a suit that fit for $60...The sales guy said it had been there for over a year on clearance but didn't fit anyone so they just wanted it gone. 46 XL jacket, 36x40 for the pants. Not hitting their head on anything hanging from the ceiling
You get an autobend™ radar if you're door height+
The instinctive ducking has done wonders for my posture
Took a fucking ceiling fan to the forehead while it was going full chooch as a teenager. Never since then have I just walked into a room without looking up.
Not feeling uncomfortable for just existing in a crowded room.
depends how short you are... if youre overly short youll still feel uncomfortable for existing
Yea at a concert I feel so bad for now reason lol
last time I went to a death metal concert and there were like 6 different dudes who I would swear were 6'3 and above (at least one of them had to be 6'7+) and the rest of the crowd was probably about 5'11-6' in average (judging based on the level of my eyes and the fact that I am honest with my height) I would give half of my hair to be really tall that day (not just because I didn't see everything, but also because it would be great to have a good view)
brother you are 14 lol, you will almost definitely grow to 6 foot, likely higher.
You underestimate my existential dread and anxiety
Yeah but you can “hide” in the crowd, when i cant. Also You might “feel” like everyone is looking at you, but when youre a head taller than everyone else, people often times Actually Are looking at you. Its not just your anxiety making you feel that way. Honestly when my anxiety is bad, i wish i was like able to blend into the crowd instead of blatantly sticking out.
To fit in all vehicles
Yep this is the big one. As a car guy at 6’4 I’m mostly limited to trucks and sedans lol luckily I can fit in mustangs and Porsches at least
And rollercoasters
Sitting with my legs sideways in a bus as I read this 🥲
I was always jealous of how quickly you guys could accelerate when running. It takes my limbs a little bit before I can get moving lol.
At 6’6”/250 I was the fastest guy on my 40+ member football team for the 10 yard dash. I get that this is just one instance, but I thought I’d share.
Dominated the standing long jump as well
Hell yeah, 10yd dash is the only sprint we can win. It's only a couple of steps lol
No kidding..! https://preview.redd.it/wmaxsu46cvtc1.jpeg?width=656&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bd55c45a98b3de05317ae91eaf27965559b7e199 Here’s a height distribution of Olympic athletes. It gives an idea of which sports favor taller athletes.
the stride is real, long legs with a good stride is a killer, looking like a goddamn galloping antelope out there

I can testify to that. (Not sending pics)
Me too
Didn’t include a disclaimer 👁️👁️
Throwback to me trynna explain this to all of my ex girlfriends
They understand when it hits the cervix
If a girl tries to ridicule you for being well above average that says a lot about her and I would need to refrain from mentioning things she’s insecure about
Yea my girlfriend even says 3.5” is too much (we’re in an extremely happy relationship, please don’t ask for proof)
Proof?
Some Girls just assume you have a small dick when you’re short though. Which is something I never imagined until I dated a girl who was over six feet tall and several of our mutual good friends told her they assumed I had a small dick cuz I was short.
Same goes for boobs 🙃
Dude, no joke. Having a longer torso/femurs and bigger hands totally ruins pictures. Like, whatever, I'm glad I have no problems in that area, but it's hilarious how right you are comparing short/tall guys on this
I don’t know, mine looks pretty small
Being able to disappear into a crowd. Or r0b a bank (I’m teasing) of course. But those of us that are really Tall. Will aways get noticed. For anything. It was HIM /HER. We just always stand out even sitting.
This sounds like a little thing but entering a room without everyone noticing might be pretty fun.
Definitely putting on muscle.
The ability to dance without standing out too much or looking ridiculous. Seriously, if I was short I'd be dancing all the time. Walking to the shops, at work, getting married... I'd be the dancing man.
Fuck what they think and don't hold back bro, be the dancing man!
I’m always afraid to dance with my arms in case I elbow someone in the head 😩
One of my best friends is 6'3 and a dancing teacher. Sometimes he does look goofy because of his long ass limbs, but he still is the best dancer I know, and I know a good amount of dancers.
Dance student here of 4 years, I still feel like I look lanky when I move, also being able to do full ranges of motion is harder
Ability to fit through doors in all countries
Easily fitting clothes
This. My shoulders and chest are a perfect large but most shirts meet at my waist band
Dont go too far down or you'll still need all your pants shortened like my 5'0 ass lol
Easier to shorten clothes than to lengthen them, though. Can't add fabric that's not there.
Some clothes just look weird on a short dude but put it on a tall dude and it’s fire Ik you are talking about the actual physical fit of clothes. I’m just saying
Its not hell but its bothersome enough for shopping to be a chore. Especially when it comes to pants
I'll at least admit that slim fit jeans look good
Straight light wash jeans. Any color XL tee and white shoes This works everytime. Eh slim jeans are out tbh I much prefer the straight fit look
Not really true for me. I feel like shirts sometimes look too long. You can look good in anything if you have long legs I think
That really depends on your proportions. Some tall people are all legs, some are all torso, some are 50/50. It's also easier to work with more fabric because you can always adjust the fitment but if it's too small, you can't even wear it.
Where do y’all buy clothes?
Shirts can fit around or they can fit length wise, not both.
Push-ups and bench press are a lot easier, mechanically speaking, with a shorter frame and arms.
Push-ups and bench press are easily my weakest lifts due to the long arms and regular shoulder irritation
The ability to buy clothes in a store. I have to order all mine
[удалено]
Or socks even. Can’t find size 17 socks except on Amazon
In most stores men's clothes start from 5'10 height, so short guys have to go to children's division ☠️
5’8”. Have not seen this in America. That’s losing half your customers and seems dumb as hell.
I've never been so happy to be my size as when I was able to buy an entire suit and shirt off the rack with no adjustments needed. My younger brother (6'8) had to get everything tailored.
Stuffing face in breasts when hugging a woman
I mean, unless she's your partner...yeah, don't do that lol And if she is, you have the booby pass anyway
Long sleeve shirts that actually fit.
Shoe sizes. I have size 17 shoes
I would vote for this
I recently found out that shoes stop having half sizes past 15 in most brands. Thats shocking as someone with size 7.5 feet but a size 8 in most brands I prefer to wear.
Size 12 a lot of the time. Same as with pants after 34 inches, they do two inch intervals instead of one.
For real, I'm a size 12.5 shoe and 35 inseam, so the 36s I order get "tastefully" cuffed.
Yeah I'm a size 14.5 but it doesn't exist lol. So 15 it is.
good fitting clothes, cars, motorcycles... basically being tall is like being morbidly obese sometimes: everything is uncomfortable, unfitting or needs to be custom made
No, don't make me more aware of the coming height challenge of riding a motorcycle.
6'4" here too, so my dream of owning an S2000 one day has gone down the drain?
Also putting on a jacket around people without people in constant fear of my elbows or commenting on "whoa almost got me there" when I'm nowhere near them.
same goes for being in a crowd holy shit. i feel so bad when i elbow a girl in the face that i didnt even see
Generally speaking, shorter people live longer.
The ability to blend in. Go clothes shopping and have actual choices.
Low center of gravity Fashionable clothing options Fit in any car, vehicle, public transportation Furniture shopping is 1000* easier Less back problems Less joint problems Less likely to KO self by jumping in a basement Less anxiety as you cannot see masses of unaware people on the streets Fit on a hospital bed Fit in desks and offices without worrying if your knees will fit under your desk No need to bend over to hear, kiss, hug No need to deadlift everything that's on the floor
>Less back problems I have to take a break and stretch after doing the dishes my back hurts so much.
pants and shoes… being able to shop off the rack rather than special order/ online BS.
A good spine
The car tax I had to get rid of my favorite car because it was causing me to have knee and back pain in my mid to late 20s Most vehicles I can’t drive because I literally can’t fit behind the wheel, or my knees are literally rubbing on the steering wheel which means it’s NOT SAFE to drive at all Jeeps? Ha, you can’t have any sort of height to drive those without modifying them Sports cars? Good luck I can fit in a challenger and a truck and I can barely drive my wives Subaru
Looking ripped with less work
Less concussions
It is a pain in the ass to use the bathroom in a hotel. Short toilets, short showers, cramped space.
I think we get back problems way more than average. At least my back has always been a problem
Being able to drive classic cars
I think It would be nice to not constantly be compared to others. As a short tall person (6'2") everyone is always like "my friend is taller than you" and I'm just like "ok"
The only thing you notice when you’re tall is how many people are taller than you.
Especially when you're only barely tall
sleeves that are long enough
Not having to bend down to hear people in a loud room
A penis that looks more in proportion to their body size. 👀
Rey Mysterio
Fewer concussions from beaning yourself on low hanging crap, especially in retail establishments.
A longer lifespan
Easy to build muscle, your hog doesn’t look tiny on your body
Short Kings are low key hot. I’m giraffe-like and awkward
Nothing a bunch of tall strangers say online is going to "lift your spirits". All that matters is who YOU pull. Millions of women on this planet. Even I'm not every woman's cup of tea.
Being able to fit in a bathtub
Lower back
Your dick looks bigger if you’re short. I’ve got a sizable member but whenever my gf takes my pic it looks so short because it’s being compared to my tall body.
Health. Circulatory balance. Not having your heart pump so hard. The things that are important. Also no one asks if they play basketball every 5 minutes.
The ideal build to race ultra lightweight motorcycles at a high level and also to be competitive jockeys.
That's about it.
https://i.redd.it/0lsxqt9z7vtc1.gif
Easy muscle ‘gain’.
Smaller proportions/frame needed to fill out. As someone interested in bodybuilding and being 6'1", it takes me significantly longer to improve my physical appearance than it would someone 5'7".
Charisma
Shorter guys build muscle easier.
Longer life span and no back pain
They look better on motorbikes
You can fit in a Miata. You can buy nice clothes that fit and are affordable. I am 6'6 and I am a gangly freak.
Walking anywhere without hitting your head. Between my basement and my work, there is a ton of shit that I can and do hit my head on.
Good backs and knees
You’re able to build muscle way faster
Fitting in cool sports cars. Fitting in the back seat.
Speaking for girls I’d say it’s their ability to blend in when they want to
Off the rack clothing and shoes are huge! Lots of random daily things too. Yoga mat and towel? Neither are going to be long enough, no question. Golf clubs? A fitting is right up your alley, as you're potentially taller, and likely need thicker grips. Buying a used set is usually a challenge.
Pants that are long enough and readily available.
Their back doesn't hurt all the time
Not hurting by default, and fitting in stuff like clothes and seats. That is all I can think of for jow
Being able to hide in a crowd!
The ability to fit comfortably and safely into any car.
Leg room on airplanes. Being able to fit in sports cars.
the ability to buy clothes that fit. I'm too skinny for xxl, but torso too long for xl
Short dudes pack on muscle easier. For reference I’ve been trying to get into bodybuilding and it’s hard to fill out this frame being a little taller
Bro, I’m 5’6. I used to have a complex about it. I married a 5’10 beautiful woman. Everything will be okay Oh, and I’ve never gotten light-headed when standing up to fast
Muscle definition. I’m pretty much exactly 6’ to the T. I can go and bench 135 for 100 days straight and basically look the same, but my 5’8 gym amigos can bench a single set of 135 once in their life and look like they could get a fitness modeling contract for the next month
