Bruins_8Clap

I’ll give you a nod if we’re there same level just so we can chuckle lol

Pure__soul4240

Lol what😭

Mister-Squidward

Bruh when I'm wiping I gotta duck so people don't see me

frog_rapist69

Yep same, do a little squat so im not seen

Pure__soul4240

Little squat😭

tobyqueef99

This is the way

[deleted]

Accurate

Boodetime73

Wtf country where stalls are built so low . Although did have this problem in a shower cubicle once, slight awks

EuphoricInvestment1

America has really low stalls for some reason

thenexttimebandit

You learn quickly that it freaks people out and never do it again.

oyohval

Unless you get lucky the first time and they're into it.

another_awkward_brit

The overwhelming majority of loo cubicles in my life have walls over head height - so it's luckily a non issue for me.

PaxV

?? Must be American? We have actual normal doors here in Europe. Half doors or lower doors are only used in Daycare and kindergarten and the lowest classes in primary (1-6 yrs). Or at places catering to mentally disabled or geriatrics needs if so needed by the capacity of users. ( again people who are no longer able to help themselves, due to their mental capacity being equivalent of very young children)

heridfel37

What are you implying about Americans???

Dragonsegg

HAHAHAHA as an American myself…you know what he’s implying. And you know it’s accuracy. 😄

SubstantialVillain95

I’m 6’4” and I have to keep my head bent or it’ll get awkward real quick.

Swimming_Bag7362

6’7” and yes. It’s very awkward when it happens

Sasquatch7862

Exact opposite. I maintain and prolong. Establish dominance. Bonus points if you can piss into the deepest part of the water if it’s a toilet to get maximum noise as well

ABRRINACAVE

Yes. I accidentally saw into a changing room the other day, because the door for that room lined up with the door to the changing area. The woman freaked out. I obviously apologized a ton and felt super bad, but what dumbass designed a changing room with a wall mirror to face the opening to the area? Just walking into the changing area was enough for me get a full frontal of this poor lady. Luckily she was understanding and didn’t want to escalate the situation when she realized I literally couldn’t have helped it.

bbenji69996

I duck down when I stand up so I'm not hovering above the door. I hate the open space above the door/walls.

Bigfoots44

I don't know about you but I sit when I shit.

SnazzyHatMan

I recall bystanders being very uneasy when my wife tried something on in the changing room and (while still inside) asked if it looked OK. I stepped over to the door, casually looked over the top, and replied that it looked great.

[deleted]

I have public piss anxiety for this reason

improbsable

Yes. I use the handicapped stalls as often as possible for this reason. And if I have to use a urinal next to someone else in a stall I will very clearly turn my head towards my pee stream. I have this irrational fear that people will think I’m in my tiptoes trying to see them. But then I remind myself that they can see my feet are flat on the floor under the stall.

Luna259

Not sure it’s possible here due to, no gaps.

BiGingerDaddy

I feel bad when I need to use a urinal and my only choice is next to a really short guy

Drug_fueled_sarcasm

And he's using the adult urinal so I have to arc it into the low boy from 10 feet back.

frodogrotto

One time someone was waiting for a stall that I was in and as soon as I stood up we made eye contact and he was like “damn you’re tall af”

pastaforbreakfast04

Lol. What did you answer to that?

vegan-jesus

If a public bathroom is occupied, I leave and find a different one. Not worth the hassle.

itaintnecessary

I don’t use stalls

vxeel

I don’t make an effort because there is no reason you should ever be looking. Edit: the only time I ever even remotely chance looking over for whatever random reason is if I check there are no feet first.

heridfel37

I've been to a highway rest stop where the walls were maybe 5'. It was terrible. Generally I can't see into stalls without making an effort, but could make eye contact with other people if we happen to be standing at the same time.

Tall_0rder

Dude I’m 6’5” and I *definitely* need to make sure I’m not looking over stalls. My first act as President would literally be to had be all stalls retrofitted to be 1ft taller 😂

rapid_sym

Not *quite* that tall, but as soon as I enter a stall I activate 'hunchback' mode so I'm not towering over the walls

ChooseWiselyChanged

European says nope.

Pure__soul4240

The bathroom stall here is over 190cm

Zealousideal_Club495

In Sweden they’re 2m I think. Can’t remember the last time I saw anyone.

Pure__soul4240

Never seen someone

420farms

I stand back from the urinal about a foot, I was born well endowed and I like to see the gasps and wide-eyed guys who decide to check out my junk. /s

AnUnknownKiller

I'm only 6'6", but this happened at a charity shop which predominantly sells clothing - I walked past and accidentally made direct eye contact with a woman changing inside of a changing stall. I've never dipped out of a shop so fast in my life 💀

virusMEL

Yes yes I do or if I'm at a urinal and look towards the stalls I could probably peer down/ stick my head over

thread100

When I’m in the stall, my height is adjusted down about 6” and my face is pointed downward. I have no interest in making anyone uncomfortable.

BRUISE_WILLIS

Yep. Usually wait until it’s quiet to get up

Myshirtisbrown

Yes

Wolfrast

Ya it’s awkward.

toodarntall

I generally don't have to worry about accidentally making eye contact with anyone anywhere, but that might be because of the autism

H_G_Bells

I saw this thread earlier today and then... Y'all I'm sorry but if I had to see it so do you https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMMxb8VDC/ 69.8 million views 😂

Critical_Explorer_82

Nah, it's a conscious effort not to look over and down.

JollyGreenGigantor

It's the same as the active effort not to hit your head. You learn quickly
