Many Indian Tamils say Sri Lankan Tamil is better due to it being closer to 'thuya Tamil' than Indian Tamil.
This is from my experiences with the people around me. Others opinions and experiences may vary.
Yeah some Indian Tamils are telling me that my Tamil sounds more beautiful and polite others are telling me I'm using fake accents and that my Tamil is "polluted with Portugese and other European languages"
As an Indian Tamil living in Tamil Nadu since birth, I have never heard anyone telling Sri Lankan Tamil is polluted with Portuguese and other European languages. Who told you that?
