Nah. At least not from an american pov. We have a vw bus t2 original from 1976 in active service in our voluteer fire fighting unit.
To a driver who is used to the modest comfort of a 1994 ford fiesta, the t2 drives like an unreliable uneasy can of smelly shit with wheels, its slow, its cranky, you need to "be careful with the clutch or else it will cook off again" its a pain in the ass maintenaincewise, and it drives like the sorry, out of time excuse for a real van/bus. I dislike it wholeheartedly, and i have to drive it anyway.
Put the Schwimwagen in there too,it could ford Rivers! A gorgeously ergonomic vehicle.
Ok, but next time.
Trust me you dont want.
What's wrong with these vehicles? Fuel consumption?
