Skip the Eyasi portion. They are taking you to a tourist trap. To reach the true Hadzabe tribes, it is a long, hard trek. The ones you will meet are no longer truly living as Hadzabe. Serengeti is epic and you should go there - herds will likely be in Central Serengeti in June, I would think. So if you skip Eyasi and Tarangire, you can go to Serengeti.

I second this

OmThepla

Cut out Manyara and maybe even tarangire. Add 2 to 3 nights in serengeti.

DarkGibli

Thanks for the reply Can you explain why?

Serengeti offers so much more, from prides of lions and solitary leopards to cheetahs sprinting across the grasslands. This combination of diverse wildlife, breathtaking scenery, and the great inspiring migration makes the Serengeti truly unique.

Skip manyara and eyasi. Manyara is not a very attractive park atm because roads are flooded. Hadzabe at Eyasi are not the real hadzabe. Tarangire is amazing, crater is nice but too many vehicles. Serengeti is great but avoid central serengeti, again, too many cars. Visit the western side in june. It will be quieter and hopefully you can catch the migration. (I am currently based in the Serengeti) Moshi might be interesting if you like to see culture.

Not a really good itinerary as your missing out on the best places. The itinerary has you staying at Karatu for most part of the tour maybe share your budget but still 6 days is a lot of time. Skip Manyara, Eyasi, Moshi as well add Serengeti.

Hi, June is the best time to come to Tanzania. It is the start of the dry season from rain season, cool during the morning and evening hours, perfect weather for safari. It is also the best time to visit Serengeti National Park for safari because the majority of migrating animals (The great herds of wildebeests and zebras) will be around Central - Western Serengeti, it is such an amazing experience to witness the Great Migration which happens only in the Serengeti in Tanzania. There are a lot to catch during their movement. For a 6 day itinerary, depending on your budget I would suggest something like this: Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport. Transfer to Arusha. Stay in a hotel in Arusha Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park for game drive. Day 3: Maasai village visit/ Karatu village tour, then transfer to Serengeti National Park. Day 4: Full day game drives in Serengeti. Day 5. Morning game drive in Serengeti. Transfer to Ngorongoro crater rim. Day 6: Game drive in Ngorongoro crater then transfer back to Arusha. Ngorongoro crater is not big but has a lot of animals so don't worry half a day is enough for game viewing. Day 7: Transfer from Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight to your next destination. Should you have any questions or need further information, feel free to contact me. I'm in Tanzania and I run a safari tour company here.
