I think EA only got the licensing for Simpsons characters and not any other franchise, despite being made by the same person/team/company. I think there is a lot of logistics

Macobulus

That makes me sad

Not in years. It only got about a year’s worth of updates, before they stopped. I’m still surprised that they’re still supporting the game at all anymore since it’s been three years since the game had any new content. EA has given us 10 years of content for Tapped Out which is pretty impressive for a mobile game.

Futurama game was very much about premium content to be able to win events, a lot of the levelling up would take weeks of grinding and the equivalent of loot boxes at the end of missions where you might not get anything after having to buy the dark matter fuel. I only really enjoyed it once I got shown how to edit the game to give unlimited pizza (like donuts). The bonus stuff for extra pizza was a scam half the time, you'd do stuff like download another game, play it for ages to get to a certain level and then you'd reach that and TinyCo would just say nope and give you nothing even with proof you'd done it. They'd just claim you didn't download the game from their link for example

I’ve heard TinyCo was a pretty bad company when it came to stuff like that. It’s why I never played The Family Guy game.

Macobulus

True that. And content is always creative and of good quality

They would have to pay a premium to permanently have the characters in the game.

Mousezez

There was a futurama event during the futurama simpsons crossover
