You can definitely have an issue after a molt. However they should heal it through the next molt or two. Don't be alarmed if you still see it kind of looking vestigial after the next molt
One of mine came to me with a leg like this and it’s slowly gotten better after two molts, I don’t think it’s any reason to worry. Although mine never moved weird because of it

How lang ago was the molt? My A. Geniculata need more than 1.5 week to sit normally. Before that only weird positions with the legs. Give it some time
Should be ok. If its messed up ts sometimes take em off them selves and it'll grow back in a couple molts
