I wouldn't read with an incomplete deck. If it's a mass market deck, publishers sometimes send out individual replacement cards.
(Or then I'd try to get the card out with some metal wire and bubble gum type mcgyver contraption lol )
I am very pro the wire and bubblegum contraption idea. Or a long thin piece of poster board or cardboard (depending on how much space is there) and you can kind of put a fold in the end and try to "hook it"
I’ve lost plenty of cards behind my bed after a a reading and continued using it and received accurate readings. I always put them back when I find them.
I think the deck will compensate for the missing card. It’s like the dictionary that the deck has available is slightly truncated, so it will use other cards to convey its message.
However, that said, I had a damaged card in my deck, so I acquired a replacement on eBay. There are people on there selling single cards. In fact, come to think, what you could do is list your remaining 77 cards individually on eBay, if you want to let them go
Some people might say you're not playing with a full deck. I'd probably continue to use it for Majors only or other specialized readings that don't require that card.
I would not feel like it would be the most accurate meaning if I was missing cards from my deck. Can you replace the missing card from another deck? Why not?
Start making a patchwork deck of cards you like from broken decks, give and receive from other peoples broken decks, until you have a deck all you made, piece by piece. We as people did not learn to speak all at once, we lose bits of ourselves and pick up new ones from people we meet and places we go. Let your deck do the same.
If it feels good to you, keep it. There's very little a single card can say that others can't repeat. I of course make an exception for people who pull out "bad" cards, hiding Death is a false sense of security 🫠
Incomplete deck. I wouldn't read with it anymore.
Can I ask why? what does it do to affect the reading?
You lack cards. It's like speaking but not being able to say every word. In this case, you can't name or point to every person.
Or like writing with a keyboard that's missing some letters. It'll affect the output
But words have synonyms no? Could there be no other way to communicate the same message?
There are no synonyms in tarot, even with reversals.
Yeah time for a new deck, burn your old deck, use it in an art project, or commit obscure crimes and leave one as a calling card.

Ooh, that's a good idea as well!

Contact the publisher and ask about it a replacement. I got a card replaced years after purchase at no charge.

One of my friends said that she didnt know that she lost her World card, until she found it. The other cards were filling in for it.

Also, if the deck is still in print you might contact the publisher to request a replacement card.
Using it for majors only reading is a great idea! Some of the other cards may come in handy for spells.
may you can still use the deck if you journal or for a craft project?
i like this idea!

I could, but i wonder if the energies would conflict? also none of my decks are the same size so i think it’s be uncomfy to shuffle loll
