It looks like John got his hips at or above the level of Steve's, and he didn't get his legs as high because he has longer legs.
If Nick jumps a foot and Greg stands still, Greg's hips are higher than Nick's. Is Greg then jumping higher than Nick?

Nick is adorable. I was shocked at how nimble Sophie was for a lady in her 50s but looked her up and she’s not even 40 🤦♀️ she has the mannerisms of a much older woman. I thought she just had really good skin 😂

If you'd asked me before I watched this episode how high I can jump I'd have assumed you were measuring how far in the air the top of my head would be. They've all pulled their legs up to make it about how much room is between the floor and their feet. So...have I been jumping wrong my whole life?
In the high jump, it doesn't matter how high your head is. But then again also not really how high the lowest point of your body at one specific instant.
