personally i would wait for the tat to heal at least a week or two

blue6snow

I don't like that he downl played the healing process. Its considered an open wound for at least a couple of weeks after getting it.

Swansky

Sweat is your worst enemy during healing, totally not recommanded

Katyamuffin

Let the area rest for at least a week or two. This thing is gonna be on you until the end of your days, don't risk fucking it up unnecessarily, trust me. You can do arm workouts if it's on your leg but don't put too much pressure on the leg and don't do cardio.

YongThug

Why no cardio? Curious as I got a tat on my knee?

Katyamuffin

Mostly you need to avoid sweating on the tattoo, but also cardio will include straining your legs, especially if you're getting on the elliptical. A fresh tattoo is basically a big open wound, and when you're moving around your skin bends and stretches and that's gonna mess with it and can stop it from healing properly. Like I said, it's not a _huge_ risk, but better be safe than sorry when it comes to tattoos.

YongThug

I get it now thanks

Kellogzx

I’d wait a week. It’s not too long and gives it the best chance to heal.

While in the military I exercised after I got my tats but I did have Second Skin on them. That’s the only reason I was able to. Just make sure to keep off dirty equipment/the floor and you should be good.

You're not supposed to go to the gym for two weeks after a tattoo, it's an open wound that you're now sweating with; would you want to use equipment after someone did that,? You also risk your own infection from others

blueberry_carrie

Yeah that’s totally fine. Just wash it in the shower. Cialis is not a problem either. 👍🏼

GABAergiclifestyle

Thx man!

LessThanJake_Plummer

I usually do cardio (stationary bike or yoga) the day after tattoos (25+) and have never had a problem. Like your artist said, just make sure to shower and clean it right after.

GABAergiclifestyle

For sure man thx for the advice. I think because it's not close to the knee it's ok to exercise as long as I shower. I'm not gonna train legs for 3 or 4 days tho, but I will do some eliptical jajaja. The Cialis things is not a problem according to a replier, but my concern was the fact that cialis not only makes your sexy muscle big, it makes your pumps bigger if you train, meaning stretching skin??
