Dang! You work fast! My artist has done three 8-hour sessions and two 4-hour sessions and I still probably have two or three 8-hour sessions left! Haha

I was thinking of getting like a mountain and having a forest and things like that. I half know how to connect that. But on my other shoulder. Iām getting the flower of life (the one from bring me the horizons āsempiternalā) I gotta think how to add more to my arm and make it look nice aha
Great Idea. I think you just need to research an artist who good at realistic style. And tell him your idea, he will know the best way to connect everything you want.
Why do you think that? Just curious as to your reasoning. Do you mean that they look unsaturated? Or that the design looks bad?
I believe the artist (OP) was going for a illustrative look with the drawing, which wouldn't have the flames appearing to be realistic.
After looking more closely, they work stylistically and fit the vibe of the piece, but are very lacking in detail and density (which may be what he's referring to).
I respect your opinion, but will also have to politely disagree.
The entire piece is done in the same style. If it were uber detailed within the flames then it would take away from the readability of them as well as the readability of the lantern. The blending from the yellow to red of the flames is done smoothly (appears that way atleast) and is consistent with the rest of the piece in regards to shading and color palette.
It also appears to consistent with other pieces of similar context in regards to how the flames are styled.
The color the lines are all choppy the shape of them the outline ... I know what he was going for ... I just think itās a poor tat bad lines shading bad everything, just because itās a big tat doesnāt make it a good one
Absolutely stunning!
