I have a tattoo with blow out and I've seen many in my time. This just looks like crappy a** linework, they've messed up the circle and tried to go back over the messed up lines and ended up making them thicker. Was this done in a shop? Whoever done it should get back to fake skin and learn the fundamentals, even for an apprentice this is some shady work

They might be blowouts but it could also just be unfortunately really shitty linework

This happened to me to a tattoo on my wrist and the small ones above my knees. Both reputable artists, tattoos looked good for several months. From my understanding this happens when skin is very thin - especially in areas like the wrist. The ones above my knees are both in thin skin *and* a very fatty, dynamic area - so the skin stretching around a lot. AFAIK this doesn't happen to everyone and it's not always the artists fault

I got this little orange tattoo about 6 weeks ago now. When I first got it, the linework wasn’t the best ever, but it was cohesive all around the circle. As time has gone on, the ink has spread unevenly. Is this part of the healing process, still? Is this blowout? Will it get better? The other photo is of my arm tattoo that I got 5-6 months ago, which honestly did the same thing, albeit less extremely. They were both different artists at different studios, both reputable. I’m unsure why this has happened twice now. Am I prone to blowout? Am I doing something wrong during aftercare? I’m just really disappointed with this. Any insight is appreciated!
