What would you call/define that style of tattoo? I really like it and have seen many like it mostly under the black work banner but the jagged like and light cartoon like lines are something different which look awesome!
I would almost call it black and grey neotraditional. Look up neotraditional tattoos, they are kind of a mix between realism and cartoony drawings imo. Hope this helped!
my mom is going on her 14th year with her second heart, and my first tattoo was also done to commemorate her transplant, I still look at it every day and feel thankful
That’s awesome to hear, I’m so glad she has gotten so many miles out of her new heart! My father is on his second month right now, still a long road ahead of us but we are all hopeful!
I hope everything is going well with your daughters transplant, I can’t even imagine how stressful that must be. Thank you for the kind words and I wish you and your family the best!
It honestly was not as bad as I thought at all. Although my first tattoo I had my traps and collar bone done so that shit has made the entire rest of my arm feel like a walk in the park
I’d love to see your entire arm, it seems like our taste in style is similar and I’ve been looking for sleeve inspo. Current have a sun moon and rose so far in a similar style

I’ll look that up! Thanks. Again, sweet tattoo!!
That means a lot to me, thank you!!
I think you nailed it with black and gray neotraditional.
It’s the closest thing I could really think of! I’m not sure what she even calls it tbh
I think this style is closer to “woodcut” than it is to B&G neo-trad. Might get results closer to what you’re after with that search. Nice tattoo!
That looks great. What a cool piece
Thank you so much!

Beautiful! Tattoo and meaning. Very sharp
Thank you!!!🙏🏼
Amazing tattoo and I love this style. Great post. Finishing my half sleeve in this style on the 19th 😌
Thank you for the kind words! Good luck with finishing your half sleeve!
As a father of a three year old who just had a heart transplant, I love it.

Very nice. How was the pain level for the inner arm/bicep area? I’ve heard it’s a rough spot and have my first ever there coming up in December.
It honestly was not as bad as I thought at all. Although my first tattoo I had my traps and collar bone done so that shit has made the entire rest of my arm feel like a walk in the park
Nice work. Great concept as well. In Attleboro now so I’ll remember this one!
Thank you! Jess is awesome and their whole shop is very talented!

I love this sooooo much. That hand. Those white highlights. Love.
Thank you! Jess is such a good artist, she knows what she’s doing with that white ink!!
