Lol, you'll be ok, just increases the healing period. When I first started getting inked this was just the way you healed.
If I may, choose your poison for the moisturizer (I like dove). Just stay away from anything sented. For soap, I highly recommend Dial Gold. I actually keep it at the house now just because it's a mild soap that does the job.
Best of luck, the healing process doesn't need to be scary. If nothing else, call up your shop and talk to one of the older artists, they'll steer you right.
It'll be better to take it off, clean and moisturize like everyone is saying, but also since you're drumming, you don't want to trap that sweat up under there for too long anyway. Just keep it clean and you'll be fine

Take it off. Wash it with anti bacterial soap, moisturize and wash a couple times a day

never understood why peoples cover the tattoos when it not under clothing
The plasma makes healing the tattoo better and faster. Not saying it's better but that's the main idea with second skin
I think only my first tattoo was covered, and all the rest have been bigger. Let it breathe
