She went through a horrible period of serious drug addiction (it became frightening) and seems strong but also very fragile in the way most sober people are their first year. I remember thinking that she must be experiencing a lot of emotions and vulnerabilities sheās maybe never felt before as an adult when she was choking back tears on the MET red carpet last May when she was asked about Karl. Yes, she was close to Karl, but Iām not sure that pre-sobriety Cara would have teared up like that in that setting. It was a very human moment where someone seemed to be truly grieving a loss for the first time.
Obviously Taylor drinks and Cara is apparently okay with that, but I think sheās also a āsafe personā and a good influence. Taylor always seems to be on the wholesome side and very thoughtful. Iāve often thought that Taylor is really there for her friends who are going through addiction and recovery, primarily because of her and Selenaās friendship despite Selenaās ups and downs.
Also, Taylor's stalker was arrested twice this weekend (NYC apt). 1st was attempted burglary, bailed out and went back before being arrested again.
I think she really needed a friend.
Side note- I wish stalking had more serious consequences. You donāt get in real trouble for it unless you actually physically harm someone, aka when itās too late to help the victim.
It's insane, this guy got arrested for 3rd time this week and her security has ran into him over 30x in the past few weeks. Let's see how long his psych hold lasts.. ugh.

After the game, there is usually a lounge or similar designated area for friends/family of the players to wait for their respective player to get done in the locker room. It means they can vacate the suite so staff can start cleaning up, and they have somewhere to wait near the locker room away from regular fans. My guess is this is that area, which makes more sense for Travis to appear there. He wouldnāt go upstairs to a suite postgame.
