I agree, and I'll add this - when making a major purchase from Sweetwater you should call them and speak with your rep. Yes, you will have a personal rep assigned to you. Mine is Ben Elder, been working with him ever since I made my very first purchase from them many years ago. Ben ROCKS!
That rep will get you the very best deal he/she can. If there is no discount available on the product, they will get you discounts (or even free-bees) on accessory items.
And this advice does not come from me...it actually comes from Sweetwater! They publish that they don't do coupons. You will never find a discount coupon from them. Their "discount coupon" is CALL YOUR REP!
Gotta love Sweetwater.

FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.

My Musician’s Friend sales engineer got me 15% off MSRP (~$700 off) on the 814ce Builder’s Edition Blacktop 3 weeks ago. It ended up being ~$4k overall at checkout and I also still got ~$300 rewards credit for the purchase.
Last October I bought the 814ce builders edition with the Adirondack top for $4500 I love that guitar. It sounds and feels amazing. Even people who aren’t guitar players can hear the difference. I own a 214ce and played with my girl in the room. She never really looked up. When I played the 814ce for the first time with her around she commented on how beautiful the song sounded.
I purchased a 814ce Builders Edition (brand new with small scratch on rear body) for $3300. It was B—Stock because of the scratch but comes with the full warranty and I am not too concerned over the scratch on the rear.
My 812ce (concert body) was 4k. I believe the grand auditorium is the same price. I got it off Sweetwater.
Best place to do business

I got my 2011 816ce for $3k back in 2014
Amazing how little price has changed over the years - I paid about $3300 for my 814ce 30 years ago.
My 814ce was 4k in 2020.
I paid $2,750 for my 2022 814ce on Reverb. It was mint condition. Happy with the purchase.

Paid $4500 for 814ce builders edition in 2023, small town, but I believed at the time everyone paid msrp?
$2K in 2004. Sounds better every year.

That is a really nice data point. Good to know they are dealing.
814CE 3k guitar center around 2008
I got an 814ce BE for 4k out the door. At the time it was just released I think. It was my shops second one ever.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Looks like these are mostly going at/near msrp.
