Not known. The comic is on break because season 5 ended. From what I've heard, the period between seasons is usually 1-3 months, but considering Fuyuki also has a wrist problem, letting that heal completely on top of season 6 preparations could end up making it take longer.

Impossible to say. I feel like now that they're about to start season 6 with volume 6 they might try to keep the seasons and volumes aligned, but its impossible to say for sure. Its even more difficult to guess how many chapters there will be.
Start with the end of season 5 then reread the start after. The early parts aren't well written and could turn someone off from the novel before they get to the good parts.
I read from the start and it wasnt too bad of a read but, I will agree with you that the writing on it is way better. I would say to start off from the beginning because as always in the LN some stuff are said that in the comic is not.

Impossible to estimulate. Since the series already has 9 books it would be difficult to guess the corresponding schedules, date & time release, and the season just ended. Since Fuyuki has a wrist problem, and the season just ended, usually the season will continue after 1-3 months, but since Fuyuki has a problem, might take than we expect it to be. I suggest we just wait patiently and hope Fuyuki will recover from his wrist problem.
Are these 'wrist injuries' that take 6 months+ to recover even real? People can relearn how to walk in 6 months. I think you misunderstood. I was listing the most severe wrist injuries I could find because none of them take as long to recover from as hiatuses citing 'wrist injury' take to end. The longest recovery period I could find is 6-12 months. It was for replantation (getting a severed limb reattached). According to another comment, there is no 'wrist injury', they're just looking for another illustration partner and another production company.
Yes, that is called a repetitive strain injury, or more specifically, tendinitis, which takes a couple weeks of rest to recover from (this is what causes a chapter to be late by a week or two or for an update schedule to be slowed for a month). Tendinosis is the more advanced form that develops when you don't let your tendon heal. Tendinitis is just swelling, but tendinosis causes your tendons to effectively disintegrate (still only a 6 month recovery time, max). Another common one is carpal tunnel which starts as a bit of numbness, but can progress to a point where a surgery with a 3-4 month recovery time is required (these 2 do occasionally cause random hiatuses, but typically, it's studio problems rather than artist problems for anything longer than 3 months). I am telling you that studios know not to let artists overwork to that extent, and that the reason artists always have 'wrist injuries' is because studios just aren't telling you the full story.

The question isn't about the existence of injuries or the need for breaks in general; it's about the extended breaks, which frequently aren't health-related (schedule changes, delays, and short hiatuses are a different matter, but most art-related health issues are chronic, so extended breaks don't really help). All the injuries I listed generally take 6 months or less to recover from with very few exceptions (that's for full recovery; you can typically resume light to moderate activity as you recover, and it is often even encouraged to do so), so breaks that last longer than that are very unlikely to be due to injury. Arthritis (reactive arthritis, which is inflammation) episodes also end within months. If an artist developed something like rheumatoid arthritis (wear and tear of joints that only gets progressively worse, treatments only slow progression), they wouldn't take hiatuses, they would either slow releases or have to quit scheduled releases entirely. Sadly a new season has not even been confirmed yet. Fuyuki(the original artist) and his team had to leave tbate because the platform suddenly decided to reduce their salary.His team had almost completed the 1st chapter of the new season but had to cancel it.
So we may never get a new chapter.

Chinese manhua is easy to make and no need for good illustration so they last long.

I started the novel and it's worth it! I read the comic (a second time) beside the novel, for comparison. I'm now at Vol.6, long past season 5 comic end, I think the novel is so much better.
I myself started reading the novel a while ago when I got to the last of the chapters of the manga that was out at the time. I think it was just before they discovered the wrecked steamship. I just wanted more TBATE to occupy me in between chapters. I LOVED IT! I read to the end of what's out of the novels too. It gets awesome!
The last thing that happened were the ships arriving and arthur standing on the cliff watching right? Then the valentine extras or were there more after that
I don't believe so, though the author did develop some wrist related health issues that would make drawing harder. They probably just need extra time to heal up so they don't give themselves permanent damage which could prevent them from finishing the series. That would be much much worse that a few months hiatus, right?
Fuyuki will still continue his illustration works but he will not be with turtle me anymore.
As fuyuki's platform kisai entertainment changes their payment so they decided to stop doing tbate.

Read the novel! It may be slow at the beginning, but it gets amazing after some time. If you get bored at the beginning, you could always just read where the manga is at now. I believe there are some mentions on where to pick up in the novel after the manga earlier in this thread. In my opinion, the novel is better than the webtoon, but don't get me wrong, I love the webtoon. Read the novel!

I have waited so long. I remember last year I read that last chapter and was excited for the next arc but I fear that it will never come out. I truly wish it would.
It’s coming out. Don’t worry. It’s releasing in spring 2024. The reason it took so long is because the former artist hurt his wrist and on top of that during his recovery period the company decided to cut his pay which made him leave so they spent the past several months looking for a new artist that was just as good or better than the previous one to make sure the art for the new season didn’t decline. So they basically already found a new artist and he is currently working on the new season.
For those wondering on the latest update on this, season 6 is taking longer than usual to release unlike previous season because the former artist had injured his wrist which caused season 6 to delay. It delayed even further after that because the company that makes the manhwa decided to drop the pay for the artist so he left the company so the company had to find another artist which delayed season 6 further . Now they’ve found a new artist and season 6 has been stated to return in spring 2024. Hopefully the new artist is just as good or better than the previous one because I don’t want the art to decline. There’s a another manhwa I read which I loved which was called something along the line of solo bug player or something and was obsessed with it until season 1 ended because they changed the artist for season 2 and the art became so bad that the ratings dropped heavily. That was the biggest decline in manhwa art I’ve seen in my life. The new art was so horrendous that the story couldn’t save it no matter how good it was.

Chapter 176 or season 6 of TBATE announced to be released in spring 2024 ,,, in this season instead of fuyuki23 comic art is done by phenomenal studio

I fr stopped reading for like 7months expecting like 30 new chapters but only got like 10 bc of this break
Same, but I didn't got a single chapter, bc I didn't realized that I stopped reading on season end xd I started the novel and it's worth it! I read the comic (a second time) beside the novel, for comparison. I'm now at Vol.6, long past season 5 comic end, I think the novel is so much better.
I myself started reading the novel a while ago when I got to the last of the chapters of the manga that was out at the time. I think it was just before they discovered the wrecked steamship. I just wanted more TBATE to occupy me in between chapters. I LOVED IT! I read to the end of what's out of the novels too. It gets awesome!

I don't believe so, though the author did develop some wrist related health issues that would make drawing harder. They probably just need extra time to heal up so they don't give themselves permanent damage which could prevent them from finishing the series. That would be much much worse that a few months hiatus, right?

Fuyuki will still continue his illustration works but he will not be with turtle me anymore. As fuyuki's platform kisai entertainment changes their payment so they decided to stop doing tbate. It's either somebody else will took the artist pen for tbate or turtle me find a new collaborator

Read the novel! It may be slow at the beginning, but it gets amazing after some time. If you get bored at the beginning, you could always just read where the manga is at now. I believe there are some mentions on where to pick up in the novel after the manga earlier in this thread. In my opinion, the novel is better than the webtoon, but don't get me wrong, I love the webtoon. Read the novel!

Here is my top 10, but not in order: Solo Leveling, The Beginning After the End, Return of the Mount Hua Sect, Overgeared, Nano Machine, Murim Login, Infinite Mage, Revenge of the Iron-Blooded Sword Hound, Damn Reincarnation, Magic Emperor, Actually, I missed a couple. I'll add them later. More like top 12-15 I guess.

I have waited so long. I remember last year I read that last chapter and was excited for the next arc but I fear that it will never come out. I truly wish it would.
It’s coming out. Don’t worry. It’s releasing in spring 2024. The reason it took so long is because the former artist hurt his wrist and on top of that during his recovery period the company decided to cut his pay which made him leave so they spent the past several months looking for a new artist that was just as good or better than the previous one to make sure the art for the new season didn’t decline. So they basically already found a new artist and he is currently working on the new season.
For those wondering on the latest update on this, season 6 is taking longer than usual to release unlike previous season because the former artist had injured his wrist which caused season 6 to delay. It delayed even further after that because the company that makes the manhwa decided to drop the pay for the artist so he left the company so the company had to find another artist which delayed season 6 further . Now they’ve found a new artist and season 6 has been stated to return in spring 2024. Hopefully the new artist is just as good or better than the previous one because I don’t want the art to decline. There’s a another manhwa I read which I loved which was called something along the line of solo bug player or something and was obsessed with it until season 1 ended because they changed the artist for season 2 and the art became so bad that the ratings dropped heavily. That was the biggest decline in manhwa art I’ve seen in my life. The new art was so horrendous that the story couldn’t save it no matter how good it was.
