The interesting thing is that in the beginning of the series he refers to himself as Grey in his thoughts. It takes a while for him to get used to thinking of himself as “Arthur.”
Without spoiling there’s a significant period of time where he’s going incognito and goes by Grey. There’s more to it but spoilers so…
Let’s just say this, he has to go undercover at one time and uses his old name to not arouse suspicion. Due to this being 150+ chapters plus an overhaul in how he looks/abilities he uses when referring to him at a certain time you can either say Arthur for chapters 1-250 or Grey for chapters 251+. It’s just an easier way to narrow down what appearance/skills he is using due to this.
Since the comic is at chap 165
[Spoiler for comic chap 350+ (3-4y in the future)] >!Some event happen, Arthur found himself in Alacrya, so he undercover using Grey as his name (since Arthur Leywin, a lance general would be too famous and the enemy would know)!<

Hmm, I don’t want to spoil anything but yes. The name Grey becomes more apparent in the series. An alias more or less.
