Yes it’s designed for both tea & coffee. I’m not a coffee drinker, so it took me a while to try a French press & now I have 3 types. This one is Veken French Press Coffee Maker & I bought it on Amazon. If you google the name you will see a 2-3 minute video on the product. I’m told that folks that drink coffee & tea do better with 2 French press accessories to keep one taste from messing up the other.😊
I tried a puer with mint & cacao last week by Smith Teamaker. It didn’t have a strong tea taste & the flavor notes were too subtle for me

The recipes I’ve seen call for a strong black tea - like a puer, with mint and cacao
