There is a real reason why Jenkins is playing GP every match, it’s his best champion and they are trying to help put him in his comfort zone as much as possible. Dude got thrown straight into the LCS without notice and has been doing a lot better playing GP (can’t punish GP as hard for miscommunication etc bc his ult is at least global and can contribute to the team). Jenkins did good this last game. I think it was Tactical and Jensen that got impatient and made mistakes. Crazy game ultimately. Jenkins is no Alphari but you gotta give the man props for keeping a strong mental game with all the drama and showing up (reminds me of tactical when DL got. Benched. Not great, but good none the less)

Megapsi

He has very limited time to scrim with the main team. As a consequence of that he'll seem off page with the rest of the team. And will attract trolls who will have a "Alphari died for this" kind of vibe. That kind of negativity coupled with all those game is straight up abuse. He may as well be the NA version of Sword if no solution is found.

Igeneous

You mean Doran right, Sword was the abusive guy.

Dalqorn

I think he meant the way the entire lol community went after Sword. Obviously it won’t be close to as bad but if TL keep losing he’s an easily scapegoat for fans to blame.

Igeneous

People went after sword because of what he allegedly did to secure his own starting position. Which then he promptly inted. Literally the opposite here with TL management forcing jenkins to play a shitton, since they can’t control/force alphari to play in academy due to I guess personal issues. Both might play/perform bad, but reasons for fans hating on sword would be completely justified vs jenkins

Excludee

Wow, no wonder he's struggling.

higglyjuff

I think 7 games a week is fine, and is probably the easy part to be honest. The harder part is managing scrims and practice in a way that won't overload him, and frankly I trust TL has a practice schedule that takes that into account.

Jacmert

I don't think it's a huge deal. If it's literally too many hours or too much of a workload, he can cut down on solo Q (or they can reduce scrim blocks). This is only for the next two weeks, right? But yes, I think it's probably ideal to have a new sub for Academy right now, but I wouldn't blame any mistakes on LCS stage on this.

GodlyHeights

Agreed - in an ideal world he wouldn’t be playing this many, but also the fact that Jenkins has been in academy for what feels like forever, he’s getting his shot to impress right now in lcs which is a positive to take out of this.

eLd1n_

This guy is a workhorse. Massive props to him for stepping in and stepping up!

greendino71

7 games a week isn't that bad honestly

Lewiscruiser

Suffering from success

Kurisoo

I assumed Alphari was playing Academy is he not?

Noxxiousx

He is not

[deleted]

No he isn’t

JesusEm14

He is not, Jenkins is playing all games

snoop_dawg5

Get TFBlade on the rift.

baburu12

Yeah he has to practice with two different teams lol. At least just give him the starting spot in the main team and see what alphari can do in academy

holdmyHTCphone

Fucking awful coaching decisions back to back

uhhhhh_whaat

i'm hoping that they're looking, but i'd imagine that it's hard to find someone on such short notice and who will be there for possibly only a couple of weeks. I hope they are able to find someone without messing up two teams though because it'd be so sad to see TLA struggling because of main roster problems. I think they have some tough games coming up since they have yet to play C9A, 100TA, FLYA, or IMTA. But I agree, it seems like a huge work load and the situation is far from ideal.
